Worst company I've ever dealt with!

At the end of February, I called DirecTV and signed up for new service.  I wanted satellite t.v. in three rooms (basement, main floor and upstairs) and DVR hook up in two rooms (basement and main floor).  I had $105 taken that day out of my checking account to pay for the second DVR box, as only one is included in their service. 

A few days later, the installer came.  He didn't remove his shoes, sat on my couch complaining about the company and used my phone to make a call.  When he finally installed the satellite, he said, without going into the basement or the upstairs, that he could only install on the main floor.  He said that most of the other installers wouldn't have even done that much for us (as if I should be thanking him).  He said most of the company's workers are 18-20 year old punks that would have taken one look at the size of the house and told us they couldn't do the job.  So, with ONE DVR box installed and satellite available in one room, he left.

The satellite was hooked up to the house right outside of the bedroom where we wanted satellite on the second floor.  I called DirecTV, who took no responsibility for the installer, as he is employed by DirecTech, a separate company.  They offered to send a second tech out to finish the job.

A couple of days later, the second installer came.  When I told him what we needed done, he said that his work order was written up as service to an existing install, not as a new install, and he couldn't do the job.  Well, he said he COULD do the job, but he wouldn't get paid if he did it without a corrected work order.  He asked for my phone and used my cell phone to call his supervisor.  He had to leave a message, so he sat on my couch with his shoes on!  He asked me some questions about the first installer, said "I think I know who that was", pulled out his cell phone (which apparently he didn't want to use for business purposes) and CALLED THE FIRST TECH!  He told this guy everything bad I'd said about him.  He got off the phone, said the first guy was just lazy, and proceeded to have another personal call on his cell phone.  After waiting a while, he said he would have DirecTV call me to reschedule the install and left.

Five days later, I hadn't heard from them, so I called again.  I scheduled an appointment for the following Friday.  Thursday night, I get a call from a DirecTV rep asking how my install went that day.  THERE WAS NO INSTALL!  I explained that I had an appointment for the following morning.  Friday morning, no one shows up.  I call DirecTV and they explain there is some "confusion" over my account and they'll call me back. 

I bitch, scream, email, blog and do everything I can to get their attention, and FINALLY, a month later, I get my $105 credited back to my checking account...but I still don't have satellite service upstairs or downstairs.

These people are idiots, and they do not care about their customers at all.  When my contract is up, I'm out!
