Directv is definitely more eye pleasing the cable.

a techie, somewhat tech savvy, loving this product, practical, not rich, a bargain hunter

Service Not Interrupted Often, Price Comparable to Cable, more channels, All digital channels

Cons

Additional receiver fee, goes out during rain, snow, storms, Additional cost per TV, Constant Problems

So far Directv has been great to me. Had it for about 10 years. The picture quality is way better than cable. Theres no fuzz or snow. Only an occasional pixelating in bad weather. Sometime it doesn't even show at all. My signal only goes out when its really pouring. The only thing is that its one room dependent. Meaning, you can't split the cable and run it to other rooms, like in cable. Otherwise, its great. And the on screen menu is a great feature.
