AWFUL SERVICE!!!

I just received an increase in my monthly bill from $149 to $185! That is outrageous, especially at this time. Now I don't even receive the NBC affiliate! Just awful!. Shame on AT&T!

Don't accept the so called free 3 month movie channel offers

I was called and offered a 3 month free HBO Max package, I accepted it and it was to end on 10/30/20. I asked the sales person if there would be any charges if I canceled before 10/30/20, I was told no there would not be any charges. I called and canceled it 0n 10/27/20. Why did a charge of 14.99 show up on my bill that I received on 10/29/20. They charged me before I even canceled. I called billing records showed that i did cancel before 10/30/20 and was told that I would have to pay that amount and my next month bill would be credited because that is how their billing cycle works. Really who ever heard of such. they need to train their sales people making these offiers to explain this to the customer. I made my own adjustments when I sent my bill in. I do not wasnt any late fees for this amount. I have been laid off and I do not have extra money to give out this month to be credited back next month.

Not worth the price

my Father got directv years ago and now that he is passed on, we are looking to switch to another provider. Everyone it rains or snow the service goes out and when you call to complain about it they say it is not their fault the weather is bad and will not credit you for any amount of time the service is out. Then there is the pricing which keeps going up and up. I also looked into getting new remotes because the are not fully functioning and they want to charge me for new ones. The latest issues we have is screen freezing. It's not worth the price or aggravation to have this service

Of the first 100 channels ony 10 are entertainment the remainder are in Spanish or selling something. The next 100 are pay per view, and only 69 of the next 100 are programming. that is 79 channels of entertainment programming in 300 channels. Your rates go up every year on the only increase in channels is more chnnels selling something. IF YOU THINK THIS IS A GOOD DEAL, DO I HAVE SOME SWAMP LAND IN FLORIDA FOR YOU!

I was a Direct TV customer for years and finally cancelled. I sent the equipment back in the boxes they provided and two years later, I get a call from creditors trying to collect $180. I didn't trust them, so they directed me to their web site and I ended up paying for equipment I returned two years ago. With all the options out there now, there is no reason to put up with this, I'll never have them again and will not encourage other to purchase this service.

I'v been with Direct TV over 10 year .Since AT&T took over it is very bad.......I can not talk to customer service there is no training on their end . bottom line they just a receptionist just to answer call and get frustrated ask to talk to supervisor then they hang up on me. It happen to me several time . customer service did not find solution. In fact i can not wait for my AT&T wireless contract to end in the next few month i would switch back to another service provider .There is no bundle discount, direct TV bill went up really high LIAR .In addition Direct TV special team from Canada are very rude and obnoxious again i need to know why my bill jump so high ask to talk to supervisor we will get a call back with in 2 hour nobody call back. What going on with Direct TV

I had DirectTV for years and am finally getting rid of it. Over the years, the packages seem to get smaller and the price gets bigger. Over time my receiver box started freezing and when I contacted them Customer Service was no help at all and only wanted me to upgrade to the Genie, which I do not want. Every month the price is higher but my package and everything else is the same. I am willing to have nothing but basic tv if it means I don't have to deal with them anymore.

My bill has never been correct and no one has the same account info but of course I'm wrong! I have had 5 times in a row where I get "Error 775" and now again tonight no tv ! I can't believe I left SPECTRUM for this joke of a TV provider! Huge mistake. DONT do it!

Direct TV overpriced horrific service!!

I had Direct tv for years and thought it was the best. My wife made a switch to Uverse and I missed Direct TV until I recently got it back. If your considering switching to it I would not waste your time or money. It is absolutely horrible. Every time you turn a receiver on there is a lag and many times it reboots, which takes minutes. Tonight it stopped working within the last two minutes of the cowboy game and it is still not on. There is a light rain that evidently is the issue. If you don't like what you currently have and are considering direct tv you'll regret the switch. NFL ticket it is the only reason I have it and I'll be cancelling this extremely dissapointing over priced service tomorrow!!

Genie is complete lie & DT does not care BEWARE

Directv Genie is a complete bust. I have been a loyal customer of Directv for over 8 years and have premium package and NFL. I have over six TVs in the house and had a house full for the holidays and the only TV that we could watch was in the family room as it was the only set that was not running with the Genie. I called Directv and they said that there was no fix for this problem and this has been an issue since October of 2018. I will drop this service as soon as possible and I will not hesitate to let others know how bad this customer service is since ATT took over.
