Once w figured out that we had tree branches that were interfering with the dish, we have never had a problem. The support people are very helpful, which means a lot to a woman who has been dragged into the 21st cerntury reluctantly! When we had cable, it went out on a regular basis. This winter was a bad one in the midwest, and we had virtually no problems with thi Directv dish.
