I had Directv for 9 years. Although I had no problems with service, I tried many times to get them to give me some of the promotions being offered to new customers, to no avail. Overall they were not a bad provider, but they need to do more to keep their existing customers happy by giving them some of the perks being offered to draw in new clients. I finally switched to Dish after Directv wanted to do nothing to keep me.
