Pros

    more channels, Easy to put service on hold, great picture, Service Not Interrupted Often, All digital channels

Cons
    Alrdy a cust, 300 plus 2 switch 2 HD, Additional receiver fee, goes out during rain, snow, storms, Additional cost per TV

Agree far better than cable, about as reliable and DirecTV does seem to care one you get hold of someone that knows what they are doing.  It is getting to be a little pricy and they don't seem to have all the good deals they use too.  All in all I highly recommend their service and the DVR
