Dior Black Out Mascara WILL be seen; not for the faint of heart!

4

I probably have sampled over 100 different mascaras from all different makers; **DiorShow Black Out Mascara** is a new one for me. I found that it's super intese, super dark and very dramatic; it's got some super fun ultra-black kohl pigments that I found really layer nicely over some of my less expensive drug store mascaras. I really feel that **DiorShow Black out Mascara **is a wonderful addition to any woman's make up bag - especially if you like the glam look! It's not for the faint of heart and let me add that it has terrific staying power. The brush is a full size brush with traditional tapered bristles. The texture of this mascara is nice, not to wet and not too dry which makes the application of **DiorShow Black Out Mascara **super clean. I found no smudges, flakes or irritation to my super sensitive eyes. I would have given it five stars, but **DiorShow Black Out Mascara **is on the pricier side. However, if you're looking for something new and you want to have a product on hand that will give you a little more oomph and a lot more drama - **DiorShow Black Out Mascara **will deliver without mercy. This is a terrific layering mascara - I highly recommend using this mascara as your last step to give any mascara a punch of wow factor!

I was extremely skeptical about succumbing to the allures of the ball applicator, but I'm pretty impressed. While I've had a lot of luck finding mascaras that give amazing length, none have ever given me much in the way of volume, so to find one that literally does everything (plus has a cool applicator) is pretty amazing

Perfect to achieve black, black eyelashes

4

As with most women, I've been on a perpetual search for the perfect black mascara. And after years of wearing cheap brands, my eyelashes are thinner than I would like them to be. Christian Dior Diorshow Blackout mascara is the solution to thin, light eyelashes. The black-kohl color is the darkest mascara I've been able to find. It's perfect for creating a dramatic, going-out look by using two coats. It's a perfect touch to any smokey eye look. Quickly brushing on one coat is nice for the day as well, without looking too overdone. The brush makes it easy to get all of your lashes, top and bottom, without smudging. It really does volumize, and create the appearance of thicker, fuller lashes. One problem is that the mascara is pricey and doesn't last very long. The first few uses are great, but after awhile it can start to clump, which makes application more difficult. My suggestion is to keep it stored in a cool, dark place. Compared to other designer cosmetic brands, such as Chanel, Diorshow Blackout mascara lasts longer and clumps less.

VA VA VOOM LASHES!

I've tried SO many different mascaras and nothing can beat this one! I love love love it! After I started using it my husband asked me how I got my lashes to grow! Ofcourse they didnt grow but this mascara made them look thick and lush. I always hate it when mascara leaves clumps but even though I put a couple of layers this mascara doesnt clump. A lot of mascaras promise to make your lashes look longer. I cared more for mine to look fuller. If you want them to also look longer then use this after using the Dior Iconic.  Ofcourse I'm not crazy about the price but seeing what it does for my lashes I am willing to fork up the cash. It gives my eyes such a dramatic look and make them look alive. I don't need to bother with fake eyelashes anymore. If you're not convinced go to any Dior counter at the mall and try it out. It will change your look instantly. I think this is a must have item for every make up kit.

Can be a bit messy but love the way it looks

Recently bought Diorshow and Blackout and have to say I'm sorry I hadn't sooner.  They are as good as you hear they are.  Diorshow is better in my opinion, not at all clumpy, unlike Blackout which I noticed clumps easily.  Blackout does help if you want a more dramatic look.  Since it had kohl in it, it tends to be a bit messy while applying.  Dries quickly tho.  I'm a fan and user of Dior mascaras now and will be for a long, long time.

Lush, bountiful, thick lashes with one application!

I was introduced to this **Dior Blackout Mascara** #**099 Kohl Black** as a gift.  It came with two other Dior Mini samples of their most popular Mascaras. I had never tried this **Dior Blackout** yet, until a few days ago. So, I took the fat applicator wand brush in my steady hand, and preceded to "get to work". I applied only one coat of this thick, creamy mascara and I **noticed immediate length**, **color,  and volume** on my sparse lashes. I did need to use a comb because of **slight** **clumping**, initially. But, that could have been because of my over zealous first application. **Application results**: I then applied a second coat afterwards.  Well, that really made my eyelashes "come alive", in my eyes. They now looked really glamorous. The **Dior Blackout Kohl Black #099** **Mascara** is inky, sooty, smoky black. It is **intense color**. Dior use some kind of deeply-saturating pigments to achieve this intensity of color. And, it shows. Of course, I wasn't expecting a "glam" look for my measly God-given short, stumpy eyelashes, but, I got one. I was very pleased, indeed. While using a mirror for comparison with my "un-mascara-(d) other eye, the difference was immediate, and visibly apparent. These sparse, lack luster lashes of mine were visibly lengthened, and volumized. They were not heavy feeling, either. They just looked fuller, thicker, blacker, and longer.  I just left it on to fully enjoy the fruits of my labor, so to speak. I did notice some slight flaking after a while from this mascara, though. I've tried countless mascaras. I still stick with my L'Oreal Voluminous as one of the better mascaras out there in "Mascara Land". But, this **Dior Blackout #99 Kohl Black** **Mascara** is a close second. It  is really good--and good to my lashes. They feel soft. Now, after allowing this Blackout mascara to dry, I experimented with it. I then tried to apply another coat of mascara, just to see what would happen. Well, that's not a very good idea, I found out. Then, I did experience some **major clumping**. I then had to work a lot more to separate my lashes from each other. Still, they looked very long, and thick. So, reapplication of this mascara, **after some time has passed, doesn't work out as well.**  You'll get some major clumping. Too much of a good thing is not good, in this particular circumstance. **MY OPINION**: Mascara reviews don't take very long, to evaluate, in my opinion. They either do what they say, or they don't. In my case, **Dior Blackout Mascara #99 Kohl Black** brought my eyelashes, and eyes, **back to "life**". I can't expound on its "virtues" anymore. It's just an excellent mascara with some fine, eyelash-enhancing benefits. If it worked for my particular eyelashes, it will probably work for you.
