Don't chew the shoe!

5

I initially started buying Dingos Rawhide - Minis as a result of my dog's veterinarian. He had a need to chew on something - she said that all dogs have an instinct to chew. Besides that, they are rawhide so I figured it would keep him quite busy and away from the shoes. It is very funny to watch him hold it down with one paw and chew until he's tired. The Rawhide Chews have meat on the inside of them and the minis are a perfect size for our dog Bolo. I know that giving him the Dingos Rawhide Minis is not limited to simply being a treat for him but it also has some health benefits for him as well. I regularly purchase them about every 6 or 7 weeks. I like how they come in a resealable pouch type bag, it makes it easier to keep them fresh. I don't think these should be used as a method for training your dog through treats. It doesn't work for my dog anyway. Mainly because they last a bit longer than the average dog treat. It takes my dog quite a bit of time to really get to wear one down to the meat. That's also one of the reasons I like this particular type of dog chew. They aren't very expensive and the last. Also I frequently see and use coupons for these - at least in my area, so be sure to check for coupons too.

My Little Pooch Loves These!

4

When I shop for dog treats I always try to get my littlest one something special; the large dogs get regular bone styled treats as well as things that I can put in their KONG toys but my little dog sometimes feels left out. When I saw the Dingo Mini Bones I hoped that they would be something that he would like and that he'd enjoy chewing on. He hates to have his teeth brushed so bones like this help to keep his teeth clean but I still have to brush them from time to time to make sure that there's no breaks or chips to his teeth. The Dingo is a wrapped styled bone so it isn't like a formed dog biscuit. That makes it harder to chew through and allows them to last longer than regular bone treats. The downside to that is that he ends up with slobber all over it and if he doesn't finish it or ends up hiding it somewhere, it is a complete mess. These are not the same as the Dingo Mini Bone Dental Chews; those are more of a dog bone treat. I have tried them both and prefer these to the Dental Chews because they last longer. Because these are a rawhide treat there could be small pieces that come off of it when dogs are chewing on it; I have never had any problems with my dog choking on the pieces but if you see the bone starting to fray while they are chewing on it, it is a good idea to pull the piece off of the bone or give them another one to chew on. I like that they come in a resealable bag but because he only gets one of these about twice a week I keep them in an air-tight container to keep them fresh.

Best dog bone

5

We have two dachshund dogs both around 15 pounds and they love these Dingo Mini Bones. Our older dog is 10 and our younger dog is 8. We have been buying Dingo Mini Bones since our oldest was a young dog, so for many years. These are by far our dogs favorite bones. Just the sight and sound of the bag makes them go crazy with excitement. Their favorite part is the red area that has the chicken flavor, but they always finish the entire bone. They don't leave any behind. They are a little on the expensive side but I'm willing to pay the price because I know my dogs love them and I trust the brand. My older dog is starting to have issues with her teeth so she doesn't chew them as much but my younger dog still loves them and we always have a bag of these in our house. I would recommend these to anyone with small dogs in their house who love to chew rawhide bones. These are the only rawhide's we give our dogs.

DANGEROUS TO SMALL DOGS

1

I have a 10lb peekapoo and she loves these bones. However the last one I gave her she almost choked to death! She had just chewed it down to one of the knots on the end. She started choking and we were panicking! Luckily it was down far enough that It did not block her airway. We rushed her to the emergency vet and by then it had passed into her stomach. She is fine now but it was a very scary incident and we are very fortunate.

My dogs love Dingo bones!

I have 2 Mini Longhaired Dachshunds and a Sheltie. They all love the Dingo bones, and the Dingos are one of the very few types of bones I allow them to have. I think they are of good quality and I trust the name. I buy them the mini bones because they all 3 eat them until they are gone, they never leave them and come back to them, probably because they know they might not be there when they come back!

My Picky Dog Loves Dingo Mini Bone

5

Our family has a small yorkshire terrier that we have had for three years. For the first year that he was with us he would eat almost any treats that we gave him, but after his first year with us he became extremely picky about his treats. We have bought numerous different types of treats and brands, but he refuses almost everything and we are left with mostly full bags of treats that we end up donating or giving to friends. The Dingo Mini bones are one of the few products that our dog actually enjoys consistently. However, our dog will only eat the meat in the middle of the bones. He will not even chew on the rawhide part of the bone. Occassionally after pulling out the meat pieces he will play with the remaining rawhide, but he will not chew on it. Because of this we go through the bones rather quickly and the are awfully expensive for a dog that is only going to eat a small part of the bone.

My Puppy Cassie LOVES these treats more than any other treat there is out there! They are very expensive though so we always have to find some kind of coupon to use to buy these. When they go on slae we really stock up!! I would reccommed these to ANY dog owner! They are the perfect little thing to reward your pet with!! They will love them! Out of the hundreds of times we have fed my dog these she has only got choked a few times but, she definately does love them. I would tell everyone i knew that these dog treats are the best! Any size dog can have them ( even though they do say minis ). My big beale and basset hound love them too. So any sie dog would love them. My grandmas cat even enjoys them they are that good. Even though i would reccomend not feeding these to your cat they are still good! Thanks!

Five stars for Dingo from my dog

5

I have a rottweiler lab mix and he absolutely loves the Dingo brand rawhides. His favorite is the original bone and he actually prefers the smaller or medium bones over the large ones. Although he will pick Dingo brand over any other brands out there. Other brands are just not comparable. I have not found out what it is in dingos that makes him so crazy over them. He does all tricks on comand and he is the best dog when I offer him a dingo. Over Christmas I got him a bunch of bags of dingos and other brands of rawhides as well. Most of the other brands are still lying on the floor and the dingos never make it past an hour. He just loves it too much. I feel like they are a bit pricey but as long as my dog eats them I will continue to get them because he does not get tired of eating them. I also really like the different rawhides they come out with. I feel that they are very lean and he has been eating dingos since he was a puppy. My dog loves this product!

Dingo bones are one of my dog's favorites

4

My dog loves toys that she can chew on and looks forward to her daily Dingo bone. I've found that the knotted bones keep her busy a little longer than the stick-style bones do; however, I do wish that these lasted a little bit longer as her puppy teeth can devour one of these in no time.  I've considered switching to the next larger sized bone, but the price is just too much for all the more bones that come in a pack for that size.  She hasn't had any trouble eating these bones and hasn't choked on any small pieces as may have happened with other reviewers.  I have found other brands that are cheaper that don't have meat in the middle, so I alternate between the Dingo bones and the less expensive brands.  These bones are a nice treat for my dog, and if it weren't for the price (I think it's high for such a small bone), I'd have given these bones five stars.  Overall, though, a great product that my dog really enjoys.

Dingo, perfect for my dog!

5

My neighbor got a bag of these for my puppy this christmas. And as we slowly doled these out to him, we realized just how much he aboslutely loves them. The combiantion of the hard rawhide and the mmeaty bits is just perfect for him. The size is big enough that he can hold it in his mouth without choking, but small enough that he can get one or two as a treet from time to time. The rawhide keeps him busy, and away from my shoes! and The meat part keeps him interested. Normal rawhides keep his attention for a few minutes maybe a half an hour if we're lucky, then he just looses interest. These bones really do keep his attention! Also, after getting these for christmas, i went out and bought a bag myself. I was so pleasently surprised at the afforadble price it was unbelievebale. I was highly expecting them to be a lot more expensive like most treats are now a days. And they really arent! I also found that a lot of my local stores carry these!
