This camera came out in May 2005, and was an upgrade from the digital one I got approximately 4 years prior. 

You won't find a new one of these any more, but if you're looking for a basic digital camera, this one will do the trick for you.  This camera conveniently takes 2 AA batteries, which although they don't last as long as the new batteries Sony includes in their new line of cameras, they are EVERYWHERE, so it's easy to pick up a pack of AAs for a couple dollars (vs. for example if you lose your battery charger on the newer models of Sonys, a new one costs about $80... yikes!).

The Canon Powershot SX110IS is an amazing compact digital camera. It has a 3 inch LCD digital viewfinder, a 10x optical zoom, and 9.0 megapixels. I love the quality of the photos. The color it captures always turns out amazing.

The flash is manual...you must raise it manually when you want it to fire. At first, I thought this aspect of the camera would bug me, but it doesn't. I like being able to control the flash, instead of fighting to keep it from going off like I did with my old Kodak camera.

This is an amazing camera! I bought it because I needed something small and compact to carry around in my purse for my travels, something that I could use to zoom into something that is far away. It does that and so much more!

I love the auto feature on this camera. I have taken some great shots at night - just make sure to hold steady or use something to keep the camera stable (tripod). The zoom feature is wonderful. With 10x zoom, I am able to get in close to the subject and get a very clear picture.

This is a great little camera that I bought because I am a klutz and need one that won't smash into pieces if it gets dropped. That being said, it is a wonderful camera, that takes great quality pictures in the water, in the snow, on the beach, wherever you need to be, it can come with you and it won't break! It was also very affordable and my dad who is an avid camera kind of guy, swears by Olympus so I didn't hesitate to buy it.

This digital camera is very easy to use and makes every occasion a memorable one. I use this camera for pleasure and work. Its multiple settings makes it possible to take clear and distinct pictures in the direct sun, part shade, dim lighting and very limited lighting. It will automatucally focus for still shots and action shots. You can avoid leaving anyone out of a large group photo by choosing the scene format or get closeups with a simple turn of the dial. I purchased the Sony DSC-H10 a few months ago and have continued to be happy with this camera. It features a 10x Optical Zoom, 8.1 megapixels and and a 3 inch square LCD monitor. It comes with a lens hood to help in bright sunlight and is easily removed for indoor shooting. The menu is easy to read and to navigate. The Olymupus FE-230 is a great travel camera because it's compact and very easy to operate. I bring with me everywhere I go. It has a fairly decent zoom, but I would prefer something with better zoom options. Also I noticed the red eye reduction does not always work. For the most part, though, the pictures are clear and crisp. The only time I have noticed blurry pictures is when I have zoomed in too far or the lighting is too dark. It's definitely a better camera for day time events or places with good lighting. The price is very reasonable and I even bought a second one for my son.

I received this camera as a gift, and based on my experience with this camera the notion that I have about my preference for buying all electronics/technology myself has been confirmed. This is not a camera that I would have purchased on my own, nor did it exceed my expectations.

There are two major flaws with this camera:

We were looking for a portable digi that we could slide into a pocket and just take it with us on the go. After spending a couple of hours looking around we finally found this one. It's easy to use, has great features that are easy to use to enhance photos, can upload to the pc, and weighs so little! Great quality pictures and an affordable price. It's about the middle of the road when it comes to price but the features along with sleek appearance make it a must have for traveling or quick trips. Easy to use. Got the bundle, so it came with charging dock. This dock also hooks up to TV so you can view your pictures as a slideshow right on your tv. Had this camera 2 years already with no problems so far. I keep it with me everywhere I go.

Earlier this year I bought the Kodak Easy Share C875 digital camera.  I bought it after reading online reviews of the camera and checking consumer reports.  The camera was pretty highly reviewed and affordable.  I paid less than 100 dollars for my camera and am thrilled with it.  It comes with a computer cord, editing software and camera case, and I also purchased a memory card for 15 dollars to go with it.  The picture quality is good, it has a video option, can take pictures in a pitch black room that turn out like you were taking them in the middle of the day and its very very simple...

This camera is a nice and fairly inexpensive alternative for someone looking for a quality camera that is not at the extreme top of the line.  This camera offers six megapixels of photo quality, and I have been nothing but impressed with the quality of prints that this camera has produced.  The camera offers a fairly standard optical zoom of 3x, which allows you to zoom in on objects at a distance before taking the picture.  One of the best qualities that I love on this camera is the anti shake mechanism, which is a sysem that is in place to help steady your images before taking the picture. ...
