Ok, let me just say right off that I have always been a die hard "film" person. I loved my 35mm camera. It took great pictures, and I wouldn't give it up for anything . . . . or so I thought. When I used the camera for the first time and saw how easy it was, I was hooked. ilove my nikon coolpix camera. The camera is really a nikon coolpix L18, but they didn't have it in there. The color of mine is red, but they have more of them in various colors. Such as blue, red, aqua green, black, purple and etc. The camera is very user friendly. It's easy to take different places. I love my new Panasonic DMC-TZ5. It has more features than I will ever use. Battery life is very good - i was leary of getting a new camera without rechargable batteries because I like being able to have backup batteries, but so far so good with this camera. I was also a little afraid of not having an actual view finder, but the screen is really big, easy to see, and so very clear. Makes it very easy to share the pics immediately ( you know how you pass the camera around at events ) - well, this screen looks great. I have always loved the Olympus brand and It has proven to definately be one of the best. And this camera proves it thirty times over. The quality of the pictures are great and the zoom is pretty awesome for the price. It is very compact, lightweight, and easy to use (after getting used to of course). I've had a few canon type cameras, anything from 35m to small pocket point and shoot type. I love the warrenty they offer. Its lightning fast with out alot of blurryness going on with it.Its a long respectable company. Specially when you start to see alot of commericals. The greatest, most hi-tech, zillion megapixel camera in the world does you no good if you don't have it with you because it's too big and you don't want to drag a camera bag around all day. The Panasonic Luminx is my 4th camera purchase in 5 years and it is by far the best I have owned. I purchased this camera for about $300 which is a little higher than average for digital camera's however the picture quality and speed of the camera are excellent. The camera has several features for example the Burst feature. I can turn on Burst and take continuous shots. I took over 50 continuous shots of my son's baseball game with no lag in the shots. Fuji - S1000 Digital Camera
I have a photography business in Fort Scott, Kansas and I use my Fujifilm Finepix S1000 digital camera for all of my photography needs. It's a great camera. It has 10.0 megepixels and 12x zoom on it. There's also a large LCD screen but I can use the optical eye piece if I decide to. The pictures it produces are very sharp and clear. They're high quality too.
