Web warehouse would be the description I would give to DigitalBundle.com, which is based in Lakewood, NJ, but only operates through the Internet. As the name implies, you can find all kinds of digital age items here from cameras and accessories of every type, GPS devices, printers/scanners, cellphones and similar conveniences, but they also have kitchen, household, outdoor and sporting goods available. It is “McAfee Hacker Safe” certified, and offers PayPal as a nonintrusive way to pay. They customer service is available by phone or e-mail (yes, they do reply). Policies concerning returns, warranties, etc. are explained in easy-to-understand language on their “about us” page. The search block is available at the top of each page, and the site map is a continuous run in alphabetical order of all their products, each with its own hyper-link.
Customer service: never had to use it, but a friend of mine did. Of course, this is just hearsay, but my friend raved about the representatives he talked to, Naomi and Joey. He called with late Christmas gifts at the last minute and said the representatives were professional, helpful and reduced the cost of his purchases while increasing the total number of items (extras for the items he wanted). The gifts were shipped immediately and in time for him to place them under the tree. In looking at other reviews across the Internet, the thing mentioned time and again is the fantastic customer service.
Shipping: Standard prices using UPS or USPS. They can ship to military overseas, and if there is a more difficult address, Naomi is willing to work towards the customer’s complete satisfaction.
Hosted by Yahoo!, Digital Bundle, for the smallish-sized site it appears to be, ends up having a few of each type of item. For instance, under Kitchenware, there are 7 items for sale. GPS devices does a better job: Garmen (12 items), Magellan (2 items). For cameras, they list 10 manufacturers with a grand total of 78 different cameras of various styles and prices. For “Great Gift Ideas” they offer 34 items for your consideration. I was drawn here when looking for a Dufflebag for my daughter. Yes, a digital website offers a dufflebag under sporting equipment! They had one, a Nike, listed for $30 but on sale for $22.50. The link sends you to the standard descriptor found anywhere on the web, so all I had to do was decide if this was the dufflebag I wanted at the best price.
This won’t be a site I go to each time I need something, but it is an option to look for a better price. Sometimes they have it, and sometimes they don’t. I like options.
