I Love Diet Coke! It's the best soft drink out there. I only drink diet soda, so I'm not comparing to regular soda, but it's by far the best diet drink. Its a bunch of tiny happy bubbles making my mouth happy.
As you can see I am not a big Diet Coke fan, truth be told I am not a Diet Coke fan AT ALL! I've tried to like it, I keep thinking my taste buds will change and every few months I'll drink one. It just isn't in my constitution.
I've been an insulin dependent diabetic for 21 years, so it's important for me to find a diet drink that I like and believe me over 21 years I've tried them all. This is the only one that I just don't like period. It leaves a really bad aftertaste. Am I prejudice. Answer, Yes when it comes to Diet Coke. I love the flavor, it satifies my thirst. I was a coca cola freak in my younger years - then I tried Diet Coke when my mother was diagnosed with diabetes. I liked it and have never stopped drinking it since.
Pepsi, sorry just does not compare. I will not get a soda if they do not have diet coke when I go to a restaurant. I bring my own sodas with me when visiting friends. I pack a cooler when just going out for the day so that I can have my diet coke.

In the past I had never been a big Diet Coke fan. After I had my first child, I had gained some extra baby wait that I needed to loose. I decided to start doing the Weight Watchers diet plan on my own. The hardest part was not wanting to waste my points on calorie drinks. Diet Coke is the best soda on the market. I like finding it on sale. If I can find a 12 pack for about 2 dollars I will buy 10 or 20 at a time. I love it. I wish I knew if the rumors about the dangers of artificial sweeteners are true. My mother is also addicted to Diet Coke. This sounds good right about now! Being on a diet at work (I work for Interstate Bakeries; we make Twinkies, Ding Dongs and donuts, etc.) is very, very hard!! We have samples in the lunch room (free lunch everyday too, not much healthy choices here!) and they are sooo hard to resist everyday. Here I am trying to lose 60 pounds and working at a Twinkie manufacturer! Anyways, Diet Coke helps me with my cravings. It gives me a boost of energy and tastes great! Diet Coke is not only the best, thirst quenching, tasty soda around, its calorie free. Its perfect for every time of the day- morning noon and night, Great on a hot day, but its especially good in the morning because its got caffiene.
Forget about having to make coffee when your still half asleep- All you have to do with Diet Coke is pull the tab and your good to go!
I used to drink Diet Pepsi until I tasted Diet Coke. Now I cant stand Pepsi. Diet Doke tastes sooo much better. I love it. I always make sure I have plenty of Diet Coke in my fridge.
