Diddy Riese Cookies - Los Angeles, CA Review

Diddy Riese is an institution in Los Angeles.  If I was a student at University of California, Los Angeles, I would have to put limits on how often I could go there.

Although they recently raised their price (I think its now a dollar and a quarter), Diddy Riese serves perfectly portioned ice cream sandwiches for a very cheap price.  They have freshly baked cookies in an assortment of flavors...my favorites are the chocolate chip and the M&M cookies.  I like to mix and match and get one of each.  I've also heard that the sugar cookies and oatmeal rasin are delicous too.  Then you get to pick your favorite ice cream flavor to put between the cookies.  I always choose cookie dough (which might be a little repetitive to the cookies, I know!)  Other flavors are supposed to be great too (I think they use Dryers ice cream?)

Diddy Riese always has a line of students outside, but its definitely worth the wait.  The only major drawback is finding parking...or you can just have your husband drive around the block a few times like I do!
