Excellent!

T.N. Dickinson's Face & Body Witch Hazel Astringent is a great product to use as an astringent, cleaning mild wounds, and shrinking blemishes. This is an all-natural product, which really makes it stand out in comparison to others. I noticed witch hazel in a lot of beauty products but did not know much about it until recently. It is great for your skin because it does not alter your natural moisture balance, which means it is great for multiple skin types! I have dry skin and it does not dry it out further, but instead cleanses it well. When I get a pimple I apply a little bit of this to the area and it quickly makes it shrink. If you get a cut you can use this to cleanse the wound. There are so many uses. I have heard a lot of people mention using this on poison ivy or other skin conditions, but I have yet to try it out on that. If you want a natural product, that is great for many skin types, give this a try. I order mine off of amazon for a fairly low price! Scent The product does not have a pleasant smell. It smells like rubbing alcohol. The scent remains on your skin for a while. This is the only downside to the product.

Fabulous T-Zone Oil Buster

5

Affordable, effective astringent that eliminates oily deposits on the face with instant application. Lasts all day until it's time for bed. It's a bit on the stinky side, but doesn't have an overpowering, strong alcoholic smell like most astringents tend to have. Effectiveness I have a very oily T-zone, and it seems to combat this problem fairly well from the morning of application until I get home. Then, I reapply before bedtime. Shine overall has been minimal, and there's a drastic difference on days when I skip, versus maintaining a cleansing schedule. Unlike most astringents, this one doesn't completely strip your face of its moisture. It does exactly what it says on the bottle. Ease of Application It's pretty much squirt and apply, either all over the face or on particular areas. About as easy as it gets. Optimal application is usually done with a swab or disposable wipe, but I use a washcloth instead. Scent Not very fond of the scent, but this is what you get when you use REAL Witch Hazel, and not stuff with extra alcohol and additives. This lacks the usual "fragrance" that gives most products their sweet and flowery smell. If you can look past the er...slight stink, you'll notice great results with regular use.

magic cosmetic treatment

If there is one product you should purchase for the rest of your life it is T.N Dickinson's Face and Body Witch Hazel Astringent. This face and body witch hazel has multiple uses. I personally choose to use this on my face and on any cuts I have on the rest of my body. If I find a small shallow cut I will apply a small amount of witch hazel to a cotton ball and apply it to the cut to sterilize and cleanse the cut. I mostly use witch hazel on my acne and face blemishes. I have found that witch hazel is great to use during at home facials or when popping a pimple. When using witch hazel in a facial simply apply a small amount of witch hazel to a cotton ball and gently rub it over your face so your skin is sterilized and protected from grime and germs that can be transmitted from your fingers. The same works for when popping a pimple on your face. First apply some witch hazel to your pimple to sterilize the area, the pop the pimple, and once again apply some witch hazel to your pimple to sterilize the open hole on your face again. Witch Hazel is a great at home multi purpose product to purchase! I would definitely recommend Witch Hazel to anyone!

Really helpful.

I liked this product, especially more than other products that I've used to try to get rid of my acne. It's discontinued, which means you can't really buy it at the stores, so that's inconvenient, but if you order it online it's pretty cheap and it works really well. I personally like the smell, but others, especially if you don't like the scent of cleaning products, don't like it. It really smells up the whole room, too, which is not that great if you have a small bathroom, because it can be overwhelming. Effectiveness It works pretty well; it doesn't really prevent acne, but it helps get rid of it if you already have it. Ease of Application You don't have to wash it off or anything, and you can apply it any time of the day, especially during the nighttime, which makes it really easy to apply. Side Effects I haven't noticed any side effects, and my skin is sensitive, so if you're worried about having dry skin or red/irritated skin, I wouldn't be concerned. Immediacy It doesn't work that quick for me, but eventually it does work.

All natural and works great!

I've been doing a lot of at home all natural beauty routines as of late and since I still struggle with the occasional pimple even though I'm in my mid-twenties, witch hazel seemed like the perfect thing to add to my beauty routine. I've been applying it with a cotton ball after washing my face and I LOVE the results I've been getting. It seems to moisturize without getting my skin oily, shrink pimples, and my pores even look a little smaller. The smell was kind of weird at first but I've gotten used to it at this point and now I really like this product. It's nice to have something available that isn't full of crazy chemicals that I can't pronounce. Sometimes the simplest solution is the right one. Effectiveness This is one of the easiest and most effective toner I've used. It cleans and moisturizes your skin naturally and helps a lot with balancing out your face and preventing breakouts. Ease of Application Just soak some up with a cotton ball and apply, it doesn't get much simpler. Immediacy It seems to take a while before it really starts working. Give it a few days to restore the natural balance of oil your skin has before you give up on it.

Astringent is very affective for acne

5

I recently found this product to be very affective for acne. When my skin begins to show signs of breaking out I reach for the Dickinson's witch hazel astringent and apply it with a cotton ball directly to the affected area. My skin will sometimes have painful acne which is found deep under the layers of skin on my face. I have found this product to be helpful in reducing pain and inflammation caused by adult acne. I am in my 40's and I'm amazed that it took me this long to find this fantastic product. The fragrance of the product is strong and unpleasant but the results make up for having to deal with the odor of this astringent. I have found that It can be used before or after washing your face, but after a shower may be more affective.

Great toner for sensitive skin

5

Have bad acne and oily sensitive skin for years and found a toner that works better than others out there and helps with my skin condition. It's cheap and lasts for a while compared to proactive etc. It's great for sensitive even sunburned skin

Great product that gentle, effective and economical

Dickinson's all natural cleansing witchhazel astringent toner is a great product for skins of all ages. I wished that I had discovered this product earlier. I wasted money on clinque's toner which I found to be very harsh and drying not to mention expensive. I know that witch hazel has been around for centuries and it was known to be An effective and gentle skin product. In the summer time my skin gets oily in the t-zones and it tends to break out. I purchased my first bottle about five years ago and was thrilled that it was gentle yet effective. I use this after I wash my face and was amazed to see the amount of dirt or oil on a cotton ball. Although it contains 14 percent alcohol, it doesn't strip your skin as dry as others.

Dickinson's Witch Hazel has endless uses!

5

Let your pocketbook take a vacation! This product is fantastic and VERY inexpensive when compared to other facial astringents. Witch hazel is all natural and safe for the environment. I use it every day on my face. I love the way it feels and it doesn't dry out your skin. What I really love about it is its many other uses. You can use it to soothe burns, clean wounds, scratches, even insect bites. When in desperate need, you can use it to remove nail polish (although this requires more elbow grease than regular nail polish remover). I would definitely recommend this to a friend. If you have trouble finding it in the beauty section of your store, check in the first-aid area with the rubbing alcohols. This is usually where I find mine. You'd be surprised at all the uses for this product and all the money you'll save off other name brands that just don't measure up. Give it a try and see what you think! I think you'll agree.

magic in a bottle

T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel Natural Astringent is by far one of the greatest face astringent for acne. growing up as a teenager, acne was not a problem. but as soon as i started college, the stress was high and the acne came out. i had tried using proactive and other harsh multistep acne medicines but they never got the job done. my mother reccommended using something a little more natural. She recommended Witch Hazel. I bought Dickinson's watch hazel and gave it a chance. the astringent was cool and refreshing on my face and left a tingling sensation on my face. initially, my face looked red and puffy around the spots where my acne was. but after a few mintues the redness went away and so did the puffyness. i would use this twice a day, one time in the morning and once at night. after a few weeks i noticed that my acne was going away. i have been using it for 3 years now and wil continue to use it.
