I am currently reading Diane Mott Davidson's series of books. I really enjoyed the first in the series Catering To Nobody.
We get an introduction to the characters, the main character being Goldy, a caterer who turns detective. The storyline is great in this book and it really keeps you guessing right up to the end. This is a fairly easy and quick read.
