An average pizza at a premium price.

like to have something fast on hand, a pizza lover, having to fix my own meals, cost-conscious

DiGiorno Ultimate Supreme pizza was something of a disappointment. Because I had a coupon, I thought I would give this a try. The Ultimate Supreme has Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, red onions and green and red bell peppers. The directions said it could be baked on a pizza pan or directly on the oven rack. Any one who has tried baking a pizza on the rack knows that is a recipe for disaster, so I used a pan. I've been buying Digiorno's pizzas for several years now and really enjoying them. I love the cheese stuffed crust but only buy once in a while as a sort of "I know it's bad for me but I love it" splurge item. Imagine my surprise yesterday when I took the pizza out of the box to find that the pizza had SHRUNK!! Yep, same size box but wow! was the actual pizza way smaller than ones I had previously bought. They increased the price but decreased the pizza....did they think we wouldn't notice???? Shame on Digiorno!!
