Viewpoints movie reviewers find Devil Wears Prada doesn't quite measure up to its expectations. They feel "the name is more clever than the film," and enjoyed the performances of stars Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Stanley Tucci much more than the actual storyline itself. Hathaway stars in this chick flick as a young writer who takes an assistant's job at a fashion magazine and finds she's "way out of her league." Based on the Devil Wears Prada novel, reviewers found a "subtle moral to an otherwise outrageous flick," yet while it was funny in some parts, others dragged. Chick flicks fans that want a little more of an edge might want to give Sex and the City a shot.

Okay, a couple of stipulations are in order before I roll on with this review. First, Anne Hathaway (Ella Enchanted, Havoc, Brokeback Mountain) has the most luscious set of lips I have ever seen on a Caucasian woman-yes even more sensual than Angela Jolie. And second I love, love, love Meryl Streep (The Bridges of Madison County, Silkwood), and her performance in this movie, Devil Wears Prada was certainly on par with the rest of her body of work.

"The Devil Wears Prada" (Hell on Heels) has an excellent cast, is full of humor and is a movie that I have watched several times and will watch again. I'm a sucker for chick-flicks and this one takes the cake!
Anne Hathaway plays the part of Andy Sachs. She's young, full of dreams, educated and doomed once she is hired as assistant to Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep), magazine editor for one of the top fashion magazines in New York. If Miranda says, "Jump", Andy says, "How high?".

I have to say I absolutely love this movie! I think that Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, & Emily Blunt were perfect! The fashions were also fabulous! This movie is inspiring to me because fashion is such a big part of my life. It makes me want to design great clothing and wear great clothing. I love fashion and without it I just wouldn't be me.
