Before I fell in love with Desperate Housewives, I never thought I would watch it. Lucky for me I had one night where there wasn't anything on television, so I tuned in and was instantly hooked. The premise of the show is four main lady characters who each have their own skeletons in the closet and you first meet them at the death of one of their friends. The first season is all about their quirky lives, as well as uncovering the mystery of the cause and reason of the death of their good friend Mary Alice. You'll meet Susan who is at sometimes neurotic, a mom trying to raise a teenage daughter and falling in love with the plumber next door. Then their is Bree who is Martha Stewart on steroids and her desire for perfection is to know end. Their is Lynettw with the kids from hell and just trying to be the best mom she can as well as balance a career. Then there is Gabriel, the one secretly having an affair with her gardener as well as always into her looks. This show has great leading characters, but also an amazing supporting cast. I love that each episode not only follows the same mystery, but also unravels more layers in each of the women's lives. The plotline includes affairs, murder and lots of trickery and scheming. This is a show you will become addicted too, and it is a lot of fun to watch.
