This has always worked really well for my son.

parent of toddlers, a diaper rash veteran, I believe in honesty, practical, value conscious, married, a diaper changing mama!
Pros

    easy to smooth on and wipe off, heals area quickly, A little goes a long way!, fine for minor chafing, easy to apply

I like all the Desitin products, but I find the "Overnight" one in the purple tube the most effective.  My son didn't get diaper rash often, but when he did, it always went away overnight with this product.  It has no odor and is very smooth.  My son never acted like it really hurt when I put it on him, even when he had a really bad rash once.  It can also be used to prevent rash, if your child is prone to getting them.
