I, myself, am a Desitin fan. I prefer it over the "creamy" types, because I found that the creamy types wiped off too easily, therefore having to apply it much more often. I received a free jar from the company, and it lasted me over a year! It works wonders and doesn't irritate baby's skin. It… read full review »

The reason why Desitin Creamy is not the best choice for a serious rash is stated clearly on the front of the tube: Goes On Smoothly & Wipes Off Easily. The point of diaper rash cream is to cover the irritated area and protect it from wetness. If the cream wipes off easily, it's going to rub right… read full review »

When my son was born my youngest daughter was just shy of turning two. She managed to get into the diaperbag and ate half a tube of this stuff. I called poison control instantly as soon as I found out. They told me it was the safest diaper rash cream on the market as far as eating it gos. They told me some have some pretty horrible side effects but with this product even if she managed to suck down the entire tube the worst thing she would get is a tummy ack. I was so thankful I bought this one and not some other brand. She didn't feel to hot for a few, but she was fine. Not only was she ok,… read full review »

This product is my favorite on the market. It spread easily so that you are not putting too much pressure on the rash area. But it's not so thin that it doesn't stick around for a while. And a little goes a long way! — It's also easy to wipe off at the next diaper change, so that the bottom will be properly clean, and then you can reapply more Desitin Creamy. — It heals my baby's bottom faster than any other I have ever tried. And another reason it's different from other brands, it doesn't smell near as bad! BIG PLUS+++ — I will always buy Desitin Creamy. If it… read full review »

My son has a VERY sensitive bottom.. If he sits in a dirty daiper for any length of time he automatically reddens up.  He has been prone to some pretty nasty rashes and just an overnight with his bum slathered in this DESITIN CREAMY does the trick.. EVERY TIME. —  This form of Desitin is the BEST.  I could never go back to anything pasty.. this formula glides on like a dream so you don't pull on tender skin when applying. — Ok, what's the downfall???  It does seem to burn a tiny bit when applied.  My son fusses and will cry out when I apply it when his… read full review »

I have used many different kinds of diaper creams and I have to say that I really like desitin. It is very creamy and easy to apply. In addition, you only need a small amount to place on the affected area. I have tried several other brands such as Burts Bees and  drug store brands yet  desitin remains my favorite! — Tip: If you apply desitin right before bed time, you can assume that your child will be generally healed by the morning. —… read full review »

I tried this after trying a different diaper that my little one was alergic to. In just a few days it was looking soooooo much better. I hate it when I think my little one is suffering so a speedy recovery in VERY important! I am sure little ones everywhere agree! Okay, I have raised enough kids in my life to let you know what my opinion is of this product.  I have been through 6 children, 5 boys and 1 girl to know when a product works.  I used the baby powder, which I might add goes everywhere including your lungs and babys lungs no matter how careful you are.  Desitin creamy was not around when my children were little darnit anyway.  No matter how good a mother you are when those teeth come in up comes a diaper rash.  One of the best cures for a diaper rash I have found beside the Desitin which I used on all my grandchildren… read full review »

I love this diaper rash cream.  It really does the job well and quickly.  My eldest has very sensitive skin and this cream worked wonders on her rashes, we would even use it when she didn't have a rash just to prevent one.  I do have to agree that it seems to sting a little when there is a bad rash, but if you blow on the area it quickly stops stinging, and the cream works so great that it usually only took 2 days for my daughters bad rashes to clear up!  My youngest doesn't have sensitive skin or (thankfully) get many diaper rashes, but we still keep some on hand just in… read full review »

Desitin Diaper cream will work to get rid of most diaper rashes, but it is very expensive. The Target version of this works exactly the same and costs one-third the price. I find it hard to spread if there is any moisture on the area it is applied to. I also think that it takes a fairly significant amount to properly protect the diaper area. The tube is hard to get the cream out of as it starts to run low. I have had this cure both bad and mild diaper rashes, and it will usually clear up or significantly heal most rashes overnight, if liberally applied at bedtime. Helpful… read full review »

My 1 1/2 year old is very light skinned like me and gets diaper rash about once a week from something he ate coming out the other end.  Each time I wash him, dry him, put on the cream and then reapply at each diaper change for about 24 hours and it's all gone!  The worst is when he eats sand in the sand box because it's so gritty coming out... I've discovered if I put this on before the actual exit of the sand comes, we can prevent the diaper rash -- yay!  — Note: The Desitin creamy doesn't smell, but the regular Desitin smells strong (even after they're dressed). … read full review »

My son hasn't got many diaper rashes. But when he did, I would put this on him over night and the next morning, the rash would be gone NO LIE. Maybe his rashes weren't too intense, but they sure did disappear. It does not rub off right away because sometimes when I go to change him, some is still smeared on his leg. I haven't really got in on any clothes yet so I don't know if it washes off well. It smells great and just a little dab goes a long way. The area affected clears up in no time. Like I said, over night is all it takes for my son. The price is a little pricey, but its worth it for… read full review »
