You may think, like I did, that you're not a fan of contemporary design.   But DWR will change your mind.  These nationwide design studios were formed as a way to give the public access to fully-licensed designer furnishings without a middle-man.   This means that instead of knock-offs, or wanna-be pieces, DWR furnishings are the real deal, and with care, will hold their value or appreciate.  They are collectibles, lifetime pieces, the stuff you will hand down to your kids.  And in the meantime, you'll get a real kick out of having any of these pieces in your own home.  

Could be Snobby..............but they're NOT
DWR staffers could be pretty snobby if they chose to be:  after all, most people are not conversant in the designers whose pieces they carry, with the exception of, say, Eames.  However, part of the DWR philosophy is approachability.    Despite the significant price tags, dogs are welcome in the store.  The proprietor, Steven Ortego, wears jeans to work.   The feel at DWR is relaxed, casual................just the kind of place you want to visit, and hang out.   And at DWR, you'll just happen to learn a lot, while surrounded by gorgeous, stylish, functional furnishings.  

Flagship Store for Outdoor Furnishings
Coconut Point has been selected as a flagship location for DWR's outdoor furnishings division.  They just converted their inventory to all things outdoors:  totally appropriate since that's why we all live here. 

Libby's Hot Tip:  many of the showroom pieces have multiple options.   Ask what other colors, textures or surfaces are available if you like a piece. 

DWR offers Design Consultation
As opposed to just being a furnishings store, DWR staffers are design consultants, and will come to your home to help with space planning and recommendations.   How great is that?
