Fantastic Alternative to Dr Bronner's Castile Soap
When it comes to using natural products, I prefer them in almost every case as compared to other types of soap. Although we use Dr Bronner's Soap a lot, Desert Essence Tea Tree Castile Soap is a fabulous alternative. Effectiveness There are many things I like about Desert Essence Tea Tree Castile Soap. First of all, it has very natural ingredients. That means that it is does not have the chemical names in it that many other soaps have. Secondly, the tea tree oil in this soap is genuine and effective. Tea tree oil is an excellent antibacterial ingredient which does wonders fighting problems that cause infections and problems. I especially love it for using with my Clarisonic to battle itchy patches that might appear on my skin from time to time. When using the tea tree oil Castile soap I often find that the itchy rash spot is gone overnight. This is something that is more effective than any other treatment I have ever tried. As a hand soap, this is also fantastic as it is a natural antibacterial that does not dry out the skin. This soap tends to be a little less harsh than Dr Bronner's but keep in mind, it still has to be watered down for most effective use. When using it in the hand soap dispenser, I water it down 50/50 to make it last longer and it still works great. I have not had any problems with dry skin or itching like I have with so many other soaps. The guys like it too. INGREDIENTS FOR SENSITIVE PEOPLE WHO WANT TO KNOW: Castile Soap (Water (Aqua), Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Tall Oil, Potassium Hydroxide), Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil*, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil Scent I love the scent of tea tree oil. It is strong and almost piney in nature, but it is true to the scent of tea tree oil and I do like it a lot. The scent is strong at first, but does not present any problems with other scents I want to use, as it fades rather quickly.
