This shampoo is the best shampoo I have ever used on my dry curly hair. It is free of all the icky stuff in conventional shampoos, yet it lathers nicely and deep cleans without drying out my hair. In fact, it adds much needed moisture. It leaves my hair and scalp very clean, but still feeling soft. It has a very light coconut-y smell which is very pleasant. It is a bit higher priced, but even with my thick hair I only need a small amount to get a nice lather. A little goes a long way so it lasts almost a month for me when using every other day. Since I have very dry hair I do find it works best when paired with the Desert Essence Coconut Conditioner. That might not be needed for normal or oily hair. I usually find this product at natural health stores or grocers. It can be easily found online too. I highly recommend this for anyone with dry coarse hair or curly hair that needs more moisture.
