I've really been trying to use organic, all-.natural sunscreens if I can for me and my family. Just about every one I have tried has been great, as long as we keep applying after getting wet. I read another post about this stuff making eyes burn, but that's just about every sunscreen I've used. I have yet to find a sunscreen that doesn't bother my eyes, so when I go under water, I wear eye goggles, otherwise it's nearly impossible to get that stuff out and I'm miserable on the boat or swimming in the lake or pool or wherever we are. To me, Desert Essence does its job, and if a product can do that without minimal harsh chemcials, I'm going to endorse it. Plus, it's not that expensive. When we have foster children, I will only use these organic types, and they never get sunburned as long as I reapply when they get out of the water; that is, after they completely dry off first. My only complaint is that it's hard for me to find. I originally bought it in Milwaukee when I was visiting, but now I often order it online. Scent I'm not a lover of scents in my products unless it's perfume. Who needs a sunscreen that will attract bugs?! Absorption Lasts just as long as any other sunscreen I've used. Ease of Application Didn't find this to be too oily at all, which is great when you're outside sweating so much.

In Arizona you need good sun protection , and sometimes almost all year.  So I use a lot of it. I also dont want a greasy or too dry lotion. Essence was real nice, smooth, easy to apply. Didn't take long to soak in.  Desert Essence had a nice fragrance too.

I have Normal to Dry medium olive tone skin, no skin problems.  Sort of pasty and leaves a slight whitish casts on some days, and other days it seems to absorb to the point, I can't really see much of a white cast.   It has never burn, stung or made my eyes water, never.  Which is unusual for me, because most sunscreens do on my sensitive skin. I love this sunscreen, even though it leaves a whitish cast.   I wore it by itself for one week and it lightened some dark spots I had, it doesn't take them away, but it sure lightened them a bit.   I like the smell, at first I didn't, but then I got use to it.   It is not a sunblock,  nor is it so called water proof, it should not be worn on the beach or in the water.   It is an everyday sunscreen, and I wear it on my neck and face everyday with a powder that matches my skin tone over it. Not too moisturizing, but not drying either to my skin.  I put one drop of oil with it, and it works for me. I think this would work great for someone with oily skin.   I put this on my son, and he has no complaints either.  My husband now uses it, when he goes plays golf, and he said it is the only one he can wear that doesn't sting his eyes, and it actually calms down his redness with rosacea. I play ball, work in the garden and do other outdoor activities except swim, or go to the beach with it, and I have never gotten burned, nor has any of my light skinned, blue eyed family members.   I never have reapplied, unless I have perspired alot. Washes off easily, this is one sunscreen that doesn't and hasn't ever burned my eyes, amazing!   I cannot, nor will I ever again wear the awful chemical sunscreens, that stung my eyes, made them water and caused welts on my face. I would recommend  this daily wear sunscreen highly to anyone.

I recently wrote the review: [My Favorite All Natural Sunscreens][1] , which includes all the sunscreens I love that are made with all natural ingredients.  Let me just say that **Desert Essence Organics Age Reversal Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 **is not and never will be, on that list. ***Desert Essence says***: "Desert Essence Organics Mineral Sunscreen protects your skin from UVA and UVB exposure.  May be applied underneath make-up."  This product sounded great because the bottle mentions several positive aspects that any woman would find appealing.  It's filled with antioxidants and each antioxidant is beneficial for a specific purpose: - **Vitamin E** - Protects against the drying effect of the sun and reduces the appearance of wrinkles. - **Grape Seed Extract **- Helps prevent signs of aging - **Pomegranate Extract **- Supports healthy skin tone and texture I brought this sunscreen with me on vacation and it worked just fine until it got wet.  While I was riding on a wave runner in the ocean, my eyes started burning intensely.  At first I thought it was the salt water, but the burning was getting worse and worse and I realized that since I wasn't wearing any make-up, the only thing on my face was **Desert Essence Organics Age Reversal Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30.  **The next day, I wore it during the day while dry and not in the water, and it worked just fine...until I took a shower.  When I got my face and hair wet in the shower, my eyes started to burn really bad again.  That's when I decided I would never use this product again! The fact that the bottle states "Daily Face Protection" and "May be applied underneath make-up" suggests that this product is recommended for facial use.  Whoever wrote that obviously hasn't used this product themselves.  What I like about this sunscreen is the fact that it is made with all natural ingredients, it's not greasy at all, it's paraben-free and it contains antioxidants that are good for your skin.  What I *don't *like about this sunscreen is the fact that you CANNOT get wet if you use this sunscreen because it will make your eyes burn like crazy! I was so happy to have found this DESERT ESSENCE Organics Daily Sun Protection Mineral Sunscreen in my local grocery store recently.  I am always looking for new ways to make the things in my life more natural and/or organic, and until I found Desert Essence Organics Daily Sun Protection Mineral Sunscreen I thought I was stuck lathering all those harsh chemicals onto my body to protect myself from the sun while everything else in my life I was trying to keep natural.  I feel I can now spend my day at the beach, laying out in the sun and enjoying myself on a hot, sunny day and not have to worry about my skin being damaged, if not by the sun, then by the chemicals in traditional sunscreens by using Desert Essence Organics Daily Sun Protection Mineral Sunscreen.  The sunscreen has a creamy consistency and nice scent.  I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a more natural approach to skin care and sunscreen.

I have tried many different types and brands of sunscreen, all without sucess. then i tried DESSERT ESSENCE Mineral Sunscreen. It was amazing! I stayed out on the beach all day long and did not get a sunburn! not even a hint of a sunburn! wow, i thought, this stuff really works!

I like this product. I have used it for a year. I get no sun burn and hopefully i wont get skin cancer due to the fact it helps block the sun from me! Also I like the smell of it. and its not sticky and easy to clean off! its great.
