Dermalogica Age Smart super rich repair —

To the Point

It was very dry in Park City, Utah where we were for our son's wedding. My Obagi system is usually wonderful at moisturizing my skin but in this case it failed me. The skin on my chin was peeling. I usually don't review samples but in this case I am. I got samples of  Dermalogica from the woman who did my hair Saturday morning. (The wedding was Saturday night.) One of the samples was from Dermalogica's Age Smart line. It's called super rich repair.

A Closer View

Dermalogica's Age Smart is not inexpensive. The 1.7 ounce jar which I have bought online at http://www.skin-one.com/desuriremocr.html ran me $75.00 with free shipping. Ouch!! Still it is worth every penny. I tend to have dry skin around my eyebrows as well. I used Dermalogica's Age Smart on that area too on Saturday.

I got other less rich moisturizers and products which I have not tried yet. Dermalogica's Age Smart is for really dry skin or for skin that is aging early.

My Experience

I didn't even wait to get back to the chalet in which we were staying. I opened Dermalogica's Age Smart in the car and applied it to my chin and eyebrow area. I probably wouldn't have needed more - just a drop would do but I added more a couple of hours later. Really my skin was smooth and there were no signs of dry or peeling skin.

The super rich repair is super rich. It is a thick white lotion that absorbs instantly in spite of its heavier weight than lotions I am used to.  I didn't have to rub at all. I truly saw results immediately.

Dermalogica's Age Smart has no artificial fragrance or color and is not tested on animals.

I won't list all the ingredients because there are a lot of them most of which are good. I am giving you the English version of the ingredients: Jojoba Seed Oil,  Shea Butter) Zinc Oxide, PEG-8 Beeswax, Extracts of: Oat Kernel, Apple) Fruit,  Coconut Oil, Gardenia Tahitensis Flower, Glucosamine HCI, Algae Extract, Yeast Extract, Evening Promrose Oil, Essential Oils of Sandalwood, Pinus Sylvestris Leaf, Geranium Maculatum, Cedarwood Bark, and Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf.

I have extremely dry and sensitive skin. My face peels right near my nose and between my eyebrows and I hate it. I try everything I can but after a few uses it just doesn't seem to cut it. Can you use this stuff under/over makeup?
