Dated But Effective
I owned this workout on VHS many, many years ago. While good at the time it is extremely dated now. It does provide a solid workout though. This consists of three ten minute workouts of increasing difficulty. The first workout would probably be considered a beginner's workout. It introduces you to Denise's philosophy and the exercises. The second workout increases the intensity and is more of an intermediate level for once you fully master the first workout and it becomes easy for you. The third workout is the most intensive and is the advanced workout intended for use after you've mastered the first two workouts and they have become easy. When I first used this I did the workout as an nine week program, using each workout for three consecutive weeks and then moving on to the next level. I probably could have done it faster, but I did the workout ten times over the three weeks and then moved on. Ten seemed like a nice, even number to me. I did experience results, but by the end of the experiment I was frankly a bit sick of the exercises and more than a bit weary of Denise herself so I moved on to another workout. This is a great targeted program and covers several fitness levels so you can either start at the beginning or jump in at the appropriate level.
