DenTek Triple Clean Floss Picks —

I love my teeth but I hate to floss them. I just don't think about it until my dentist yells at me and then I buy 14 kinds of floss that I use for a week and forget about. The one type of floss that I do really like is the kind that comes in little individual picks.

Recently I bought a pack of Dentek Triple Clean Floss Picks.  They were on sale big time.  Two packs of 90 picks for $2.99.  So I got the two-pack, brought it home and promptly forgot about it until last week when my dentist yelled at me for not flossing often enough.

So I dug out my Dentek Floss Picks and gave them a try.  And boy do I hate them.  You see, cheaper is not necessarity better because rather than using one pick for my whole mouth or one for the top teeth and one for the bottom, I have to use no less than four picks to floss all my teeth which turns out to be not such a good value in the long run.

The problem is that the floss breaks free of the plastic pick part.  I can usually floss my all of my front teeth with one pick, but when I get to my molars which are closer together and the spaces are tighter, the floss breaks right off after flossing the second tooth so I have to use basically one pick for each quadrant of my mouth.  Not good.

I'll keep the 150 of these floss picks I have left to keep in my purse for spinach emergencies or something but I'll not be buying this brand again.

I'll stick to the Reach Flosser or the picks made by Gum.

I used to keep the box of floss near the TV, so it was always easy to use it each night. Now with these new flossers I have them at my computer, and again, I never forget to use 1 every night. Try it!

Wish I could say my Tree Pose is steady. You should see me bobbing and weaving while I'm doing my best to floss. Thanks for the comment!

Well, it's not a GOOD tree pose!

LOL! I'm sure there are things duller than flossing. I like your idea of incorporating a little yoga into your flossing routine. Maybe I'll start flossing while I rinse the conditioner out of my hair or something cuz the tree pose is just hopeless with me. :)

Consider me signed-on for your floss series. Is there anything duller than flossing? I work on my balance while doing it. Stand on my left leg (modified Tree position) while flossing upper teeth. Stand on my right leg for the lowers. Nothing like multi-tasking. And my balance IS getting better!

You should try the ones with the white tape floss. I have really tight teeth and can't use most flosspicks, but the ones with tape go between my teeth without a problem. There are not many brands of these out there but the ones i have are called Comfort Clean and they are from Dentek too.
