I have been a bbq guru for quite awhile. I am one who doesn't like a blow your mouth off hot bbq sauce where you only taste the "heat" and not the meat. I am a Kansas City Barbeque Society Certified Judge and I cook in KCBS contests as well. I seen this sauce at a contest and had to try it. The label and name stood out and I needed to know more. I obtained a couple of bottles and went to cooking. I give this sauce 2 thumbs up. It is a sweet tomato based sauce with a little texture to it. I have brushed it on ribs at the last 15 minutes of cooking and also chicken as well. It is extremely good tossed in pile of pulled pork. It is great for bbq lovers of all ages. I have shared this sauce with many co-workers all of whom love it and have bought their own off the website on the bottle. The website is . They also just released a new sauce which is a more medium heat based off the original flavor called Blaze Orange. This sauce is a bit zippier and quite a hit, it has pleasant warm back bite that isn't bitter and doesn't linger. Both these sauces are a hit and are sure to take off nationwide real soon. Both sauces come in glass 13 oz bottles and each have a very distinct label with suggestions and uses.

I have to agree with Grillmastermatt. This is an excellent sauce. I run a BBQ website where we review sauces and have free sauce giveaways. I probably have 50 bottles of sauce in the house currently and Demon Pigs are some of the best. They are worth the effort to find.

I have been going to comp's since 2000. However I didn't start competing until 2005 when more contests came available in Minnesota and Wisconsin. I have been a judge for 2 years I don't judge alot because I'd rather be competing. My wife is a certified judge as well and she has judged numerous contests. Where did you take the class, who was the instructor?
I hope you give the Demon Pig Sauce sauce a try I'm pretty positive it will live up to your expectations. Or at least broaden the flavors and tastes in your bbq cupboard.

I'll have to pick some of this up. I live near Stewartville and I see that its supposed to be available at Corner Meats. I've always been a big fan of Sweet Baby Ray's, maybe this will replace that...

Last weekend I went and became a certified KCBS judge too, how long have you been going to competitions?

Thanks,
John

Thank you for the compliment, If you haven't tried Demon Pig BBQ Sauce I urge you to try it. View points wouldn't let me add their web address but if you google the name you will find their website.
I must say this viewpoints has a lot to offer the consumers. I will find it very helpful in finding new products.
