Completely unnaceptable service- and I was 26 hours late!

Two flights were cancelled on my way to a wedding! The first was due "to mechanical problems;" Delta called three hours before the flight to say they were sending us the next day. The flight they rerouted us on got into the destination after the wedding was over- I spent three hours on the phone getting another flight. I had trouble checking in, because there were no seats on the flights the agent had booked me on. At the second layover, the agent was extrodinarily rude, accusing us of "getting ourselves into this situation" when we tried to get assigned seats on the flight I was previously told we had seats on. He refused to call a supervisor, another agent had to intervene. We finally got assigned seats; then the third and last flight was cancelled due to delays caused by Delta. The agents were again rude, refusing to offer any help or call a supervisor. After seeking out a supervisor myself, they booked a flight that got me near the original destination- after over 24 hours of airports and disgusting hotels also overbooked by Delta because of their cancellations, we made it to the wedding 20 minutes late. Nothing can make up for missing the vows, but at least Delta paid for the three-hour cab ride to the church from the airport and gave us enough vouchers for a free flight. Too bad I never want to fly with Delta again...
