this is an airline that really needs to go out of business.

family traveler, pleasure traveler, into romantic getaways, tired of airport hassles, love to travel, a frequent flyer, business traveler

difficult, overbooked flights, meal was typical airline food. BLAND!, rude, pricey, unknowledgable, untimely, head phones bad, meals less inadequate than most, narrow seats, you name it

My on going relationship with Delta goes back as far as 1996 I was stationed in Ft Bragg NC my mom had unexpectedly passed away. I was a wreck I was very close to her and was as distraught at her loss that I was completely incoherent to what was going on around me. I boarded the plane to take my seat with my wife in the seat next to me. Along come the Flight attendant and tells my wife that she is being bumped but I am not. She refuses vigorously and wins the argument. the next that come up is the snack and drink with the option of buying head phones for the movie. Keep in mind that I am crying this entire time. my wife buys me a drink " not normal nether one of us are drinkers but she had never seen her husband falling apart like this" she purchased the drink. and asked if i could get a set of head phones I think they where like $2:00 for both and she offers the change. pulse some she had in her purse. This stellar flight attendant says no and say's we only take folding money. Jill does not let it die there she asked the flight attendant "well can I just have a s set my husbands mother just unexpectedly died he need something to take his mind off of that. the flight attendant responds didn't you get this flight for free so you should be able to at least pay for head phones. After all was said and done I called Delta airlines to lodge a complaint and there response was in a form letter stating that "the flight attendant acted within the policies of Delta airline". As a member of the Military I fly all the time. Unfortunetly I have to fly Delta quite often I have never had a good experiance with them. I will add more of my adventures Delta at a later date.
