I have been flying Delta for over 20 years to almost all areas of the United States. It is much easier to fly Delta direct to anywhere else since Delta is based in Atlanta (which is where I happen to live).
Delta's service is probably not much better than most major airlines such as American but I have always had good luck with them. I have had 2 trips to Chicago so far this year and Delta was the cheapest airlines with a much better schedule than any of the other major airlines that fly into OHare. The crew was polite, and extremely helpful..in fact they went above and beyond the call of duty. I was traveling with a small infant, and the assistance that I received was remarkable, and certainly made the trip much easier for both myself and the baby.
