On a previous flight with Delta I was involved with a very short layover in Cinncinati, Ohio. There were a small handful of us (approximately 7) on the first flight pulled aside to be searched through customs. After the rushed process through customs they said they would call up and let the terminal know we were on our way and that they had stopped us. We literally all ran up to our terminal for our flight home. As we were all huffing and puffing, we were literally about 10-15 feet of the entrance to the plane when the stewardess closed the doors. One of the members of this group was pounding frantically on the doors for her to return and open them for us. She did not return. And upon questioning the lady at the desk her exact words were "Well, you were late". And NO assistance with anything more after that. What a sucky attitude and HORRIBLE customer service skills! Oh, by the way, my luggage made it home on that flight. We were stuck in Cinncinati for another day an a half on stand by. :(
