Delta Airlines, not the friendly airline.

Once a year I travel to visit family. A few times I have tried Delta Airlines. What a mistake! It began by going to the ticket counter to check in my luggage. The person behind the desk was very unfriendly. At first I chalked it up to they must have been having a bad day. It happens. Well, it didn't end there. Next, I enter the airplane and take my seat. So far, so good. After we take off, I asked if I could get a pillow or blanket, sorry, none available. (It was told to me in a clipped, matter of fact voice) Guess she was having a bad day too. When we arrived at the place to where I was to change planes, the plane had equipment trouble and we had to wait an additional 2 hours. At this point I was wondering why on earth I had decided to go with Delta Air Lines. If they had at least been friendly I would have been more understanding. Unfortunately, close to the same thing happened on my next attempt flying with Delta Air Lines. Mainly, it was just rude and unfriendly customer service. I will never again (no matter how cheap the air fare) fly with Delta Air Lines. Twice was way too much for me.
