Great laptop for the money and backed by Dell's service.

I wasn't convinced at first that a move to a laptop was a good idea. I was happy with my PC and thought I'd hate the smaller keyboard on a laptop. But our family travels quite a lot, and I really wanted to be able to redeem the time while sitting in the car, so I bit the bullet.

Bad laptop, dell make your mind up cuz this is one slow, crashing vista laptop at £500 it isn't worth a penny of it. The only good point is the design, though why would you put a Usb Stick at the back where you can't see or reach. Vista Difficult to Use; Inconsistent; Tabs are helpful

Vista is not an easy transition from superior XP. The menus are not user friendly. Sometimes the icons on the desktop are huge and sometimes they are normal size. My husband and I regret not paying the extra and getting XP. Maybe it will be better in a year or so when they get the bugs worked out.

Great Computer, decen price

I have had great success with my Inspiron 6400, although after seeing the docking station of my friend's Latitude D830, I am jealous. When looking into this option, it was not available, next time I will get a Del Latitude. XP and Vista worked well with this laptop, but you have to download the proper drivers for Vista to work properly. I ordered my laptop with XP, before Vista had been tested.

After a very expensive laptop from Gateway was added to the trash heap, I purchased my Dell Ispiron. What a good decision. Dell is top of the line in every aspect of the computer sales business. Thay have the terrific products but something even better is their customer service! I have never been treated better. They are so eager to please and helpful. It is truely refreshing! More companies need to follow their lead, I am sick of automated voices and hours on hold.You won't find that at Dell!

Hi guys i bought thi laptop 2 years ago and based on my observation this laptop has windows xp whixh is much better than vista but nowadays vista is inevitable so lets go with it.
heating is normal and performance is goodyou can ask any other questions regarding it.
