Vista is not an easy transition from superior XP. The menus are not user friendly. Sometimes the icons on the desktop are huge and sometimes they are normal size. My husband and I regret not paying the extra and getting XP. Maybe it will be better in a year or so when they get the bugs worked out.

you should not blame the hardware for the vista.everybody knows that vista is bad and so is the case with any other company's laptop which has vista installed in it.
