Hard drive went out...but Tech was excellent in the ability to find this problem and analyze it quickly.

Technical support member Shane(female) went out of her way to explain procedures we were doing to try and troubleshoot the problem with my system.

Excellent service with a smile!

I have dealt with customer service at Dell for two seperate issues.  The first was an issue I was having with my computer running slowly.  I had to call back three times to three different representatives before I reached a female that could understand my needs and respond to me with correct words...

Everyone from dell knows NOTHING about computers, only how to read off of a piece of paper and complicate uncomplicating matters. I was inconvenienced THREE times by them. They made a shady/incorrect "diagnosis, sending my laptop computer back "fixed" but in the same nonfunctioning condition it was when i sent it out....$400 and 3-4 weeks later (a NEW laptop costs $499 btw).....not to mention horrible customer service and wrong orders sent to me as well. If you don't have a dell, don't get one....it's not worth the aggravation...even the DHL delivery guys (the official delivery service for Dell)... read full review »

In december my husband and i bought a new computer, first off they gave us the wrong information when we asked about the one we were buying, they sent us a broken computer, replaced it, we had to acll to get it replaced 2 times the first time the person didnt do it right and they couldnt even find the confermation number that i was givin but its been 2 months and im just now getting a prepaid slip to return it though i have called about 4 times and emailed 2 times. They keep calling us telling us our account is past due even though i paid in full 2 weeks ago, come to find out the order didnt get...

Although they always resolve the problem, it is almost always frustrating because I always seem to get someone from a foreign country that I can hardly understand and have to ask 2 or 3 times what they are trying to tell me.  My previous Dell computer, the hard drive got ruined by a virus that it took 3 phone calls to Dell and a test that they did from there for them to tell me what the problem was.

Calling Dell customer care or technical support is a WASTE of time. They do not know about computers, they just repeat the same script over and over .....

After this laptop is broken, I will move to another brand. I own 3 Dell latops and I will love to dissaper them.

Dell Customer Care to me does not seem to serve the customer.  I've dealt with Dell several times and the majority of the time they were very unhelpful.  It was like they didn't even want to listen to the problem you were having.

    I had a problem with my Laptop and with the warrenty that I purchased I was covered. I called right away and Dell sent a technition with the parts and it was fixed within 4 days of my call. You must buy the warrenty though.

I had about a million questions and they were very patient and helpful. I also actually talked to an American not a foriegn person which was really helpful and not what I was expecting.
