Pro's: The screen is very nice. The IPS technology does what its suppose to and delivers a good image. This monitor is a good choice for artists and developers as it delivers good and accurate colors similar to Apple branded LG monitors. The structure of the monitor is nice. The stand does its job well and can swivel left, right and even rotate to switch to portrait mode for displaying your project. The monitor is also matte so that glare is never really a big issue for those who care. Cons: I prefer deeper blacks with my monitors and this is not the case with this monitor. Blacks kind of have a grey lightish tint due to the backlighting and although this is minor, it is somewhat annoying to me. This leads me to issue number two with is the evenness of the monitor service. This doesnt effect the picture when something is being displayed but on black screens the monitor surface appears uneven and doesn't look good at all. HDMI would have been nice but you cant have everything i guess =( Overall though still a good monitor for your computing needs!

The Dell U2311H Monitor is fantastic. Rich colors, bright whites, deep blacks, this monitor puts every non IPS panel to rest. Black bars are a thing of the past with this monitor. Running at the standard 1920x1080 you'll never see black bars again! Do not be fooled by inferior TN panel monitors claiming 2ms response time. The U2311H is not only great for surfing the web, it's great for playing PC games as well. Playing fast paced FPS games is a dream on this monitor. Very little "ghosting" and no input-lag should put this monitor on any gamer's list. Coming from a CRT monitor, I was very cautious about buying an LCD monitor. All my fears went away after a few minutes with the U2311H. Viewing angles are very good and the stand is the best I've seen on an LCD monitor. The monitor has a nice amount of inputs, Display port, DVI-D, and VGA. There are two USB ports on the side for easy charging of an iPod or for transferring photos from a camera. Best monitor I've ever bought!
