I have this computer and its the great computer I have upgrade it with extra memory and a storge hard drive in this computer. I do lot of work on this computer especially doing interneting marketing and surfing the web. I can put more software on my computer like games for the kids, education software. I can  download all type of music and movie on this computer. I can put a web camera on it to.I have fax capable on it. When I purchase this computer I have to do a lot of invested in this computer. The best thing about this computer is that I can storge alot of information on it. And it is great for do business on it. this computer has a surround sound speaker and has 3 in one printer too.Dell computer is the best computer I every had. The next computer that I will be investing in is a dell laptop. Cause I am alway on the move and I like to keep up will my business that I have online and checking my emails.

Bought the Dimension E510 back in Aug 2006.  And I haven't regretted it.  It's a solid, dependable computer.  I can leave it on for days and it doesn't get all junked up.  I can also shut it down every day.  For a computer that has 1GB RAM and a 160GB HD, it's pretty fast when doing multiple tasks in multiple programs. I got the desktop after having a Dell laptop for nearly 10 years.  And have been very happy with my purchase.  The few times I've needed to contact tech support, I've gotten someone who knows what they're doing and they've been able to talk me through the problem. Sometimes I wish the fan was a bit softer... if I haven't been using it for a while, it revs up, whirring pretty noisily.

I purchased this computer in August 2007, and it has been absolutely wonderful. I wasn't thrilled with the fact that it came with Vista, and contemplated downgrading to XP, but kept it. I've had no issues, and had fantastic performance. It does take some maintenance to keep it running top notch and virus free, but any computer does. I think a lot of people don't take proper care of their equipment and then blame the manufacturer. I also have a Dell laptop, that's still running strong after nearly 5 years. For me Dell is the only way to go.

I think for the price of this computer out there it is one of the best on the market. I had a newer apple and I thought that was nice until I used on of these @ a friends house. I went out & replaced my apple within a week with this system. It's easy to use & customer service with Dell so far has been exemplary.

Dell has been very good to me! As an Older person I really appreciate the patience they have when I call with a problem They get me back on line fast! I have needed them quite a few times and they were good about walking me through the steps. I would buy a Dell again. This is my second one so far.

I was really excited to buy a new computer to start college just after my high school graduation.  I looked around and found that dell was the cheapest and seemed to have the same perks as all the others.  I purchased it and was very pleased with the performance for about 6 months.  I might have bought it cheap but I expected it to last a little longer, I don't know what I was thinking.  I sold it to a computer place for 1/4 what I paid and I still owed what I got out of it.  No way I will ever buy another Dell.

Dells are one of the cheapest computers available and you get what you pay for. Dell has consistantly had bad tech support and it has not gotten any better over the years. If you want a cheap throw away computer that won't last long and you have to purchase Dell parts, then this is the computer for you. Otherwise go with another vendor.

the dell dimsnion510 is good to work on .my only problem with it i had it in the shop ,getting it fixed 2 weeks after it 's first birthday.and am kicking my self for not getting extended insurance.but then maybe that is just a coincidental  happening.

I like my PC. I have had this desktop for over 2 years and have never had a problem at all with it. it is a little slow at times but has plenty of storage for my everyday use. I use it for email, internet, pictures and music. I have upgraded my monitor and overall have been very happy. at times i wish i would have chosen a laptop for the mobility but overall great buy!

The Dell Dimension E510 is a computer that has lasted me for over five years. I have purchased this computer back in February of 2006. I have never had any real issues with this computer. This computer has gone through viruses and other sorts of malware that has shut down and ruined my software and programs that I had installed on my computer on several occasions. But after getting help from Dell (which I have to say the overall customer service from them is average to below average but that's for another review), I had gotten my computer up and running again as if it was like new. Yes I was upset that I had lost all my files and installed programs but my computer was running perfectly. Another great thing about the Dell Dimension E510 is that I have used this computer virtually every day for the past five years and it still runs perfectly. The only drawback is that the CD burner tends to wear out quickly. I had to get it replaced 2 times in the past five years. The CD burner did get heavy use in the five years so that must be why. And it does freeze on occasion but nothing serious. But overall I'm happy with the Dell Dimension E510 and never had any issues other than the CD burner.
