Dell provides solid computers that are reliable, functional, durable, and most importantly long lasting. I have had mine for five years now and could nont say a bad thing about it. It has traveled with me worldwide and has never let be down when I needed it. The battery lasts about the average time of any laptop battery that I have used. It is rather heavy but for all that it entails it is worth its weight. I have never had to replace my battery which shows the quality of this product. The sound is not too great but that is what external spearkers are for. About half of my hard drive is taken up and my computer still runs as fast as lightening, loading and running multiple programs at once. IT also is amazing at running computer games. THe graphics are smooth and clear and the load and running time is very short. Definately something I would suggest to my friends,, especially those who are gamers or students that need dependable products. The computer is worth the money it costs.

There always seems to be fashion tied in even with electronic devices. Apple has remained a powerhouse in the electronics market most noteably due to its simplistic, asthetically-pleasing designs. Finally, Dell has released a production line of Apple MacBook competitors that can be purchased for half the price. These XPS 15's also known as (Studio XPS 15 or XPS L501X) boast the best sound system complete with a powerful subwoofer and the first Skype-certified webcam. Most noteworthy of all, the 1080P Full High Definition screen is absolutely gorgeous. The actual dimesions of the notebook come closer to a traditional 17 inch laptop but the XPS 15 is configured with a 15 inch screen, up to 8 GB of DDR3 RAM, a DVD-RW or Blu-Ray combo Optical Drive, an optional backlit keyboard (this is a must), bluetooth 3.0, Intel WiFi cards, and of course that gorgeous 1080P screen. Overall, this is a great machine; it's design is simplistic, packs 2 USB 3.0 ports and a combined eSATA/USB 2.0 port. With it's powerful Optimus-capable GPU, this Intel Core i5 machine is definitely a powerhouse.
