The Dell XPS M1210 laptop is small and light.  Mine has an 8x CD/DVD-RW drive, and a 120GB hard drive.  The Intel centrino duo processor is enough to run the programs I always use, including music and movie editors.  The battery life is good at first, but then it decreases continuously to the point that it only lasts 15 minutes now and I've only had the laptop for a year.  Other than that, I've enjoyed this laptop as a PC, but if I could go back and buy a Macbook I would.

I love my gadgets and this is one of them.  It does have a few cons but then so does most everything.   For it's size it has almost everything one needs.

 Pros:

Built in Camera & Microphone

Upgradeable Batteries & Hard drive

Lightweight

Has buttons on the front to play DVDs without booting computer

Uses same power cords from older models

Has four USB ports

Has a widescreen aspect ratio

 Cons:

Integrated sound card - can't play tunes in a chat room

Has the newer PC Card slot so my old cards don't fit

Standard battery is to small (splurge on the extra long life and you won't be sorry)

Small keyboard for...
