With the Intel Core Duo processor, this machine is not only fast, but stays fast even when using numerous programs at once.  The digital LCD flat panel monitor is crisp and clear, making for a great computing experience.  Dell always makes a great product, but adding the latest Intel processor just made it better.  A multimedia keyboard and speakers with subwoofer just add to the overall experience.  If you're looking for a reliable, well priced, and fast computer, try the Dell!

I bought the Dell XPS 410 this past June. I was replacing an older Desktop model from 2002, and I knew that my family would be needing a lot more memory.

The only disappointment has been with the Vista operating system. At times IE will suddenly stop working and it seems to be a conflict with vista. Also, some of our older components (printers, webcam) won't work with Vista. I'm sorry I didn't ask Dell to provide us with XP instead.

I ordered the computer with extra RAM so we have 4GB right now. I wanted to make sure that the computer wouldn't become obsolete right away, especially since we use a... review »

This computer tops it's competitors! Vista is now being added to all computers and they are working out the "bugs". That is not Dell's fault. I could not be more pleased with this computer. My 24" screen is superb!! The wireless card is "up to date", I did choose 2 MB RAM and that helps on the speed of my computer, even though I chose the slower processor. I like the warrenty, theirs is longer than any of the competitors and worth every cent. Their technical support team is very helpful. The computer comes with handy "easy to set up" instructions. This computer is the ultimate great machine.   I have never had a problem with it, especially with all of the built in programs.  I upgraded both the monitor (flat 19") and speakers (next level w/subwoofer) and have had this now for 2 years.  No upgrades needed except for my virus protection. 

I will always buy from Dell.  They are reliable, offer great support and constantly have great deals going.  If you don't like the deals that they have, call them and see if you can get better...seriously.  They will do a lot for your business.

I am not uncomfortable with a computer but I am not a Techie either.  What I love about my XPS 410 is that I opened the box, plugged in the wires, and was surfing in about a half hour.  I tend to forget to close windows while surfing which can slow down things on some computers but not this one.  The duo core processor is wonderful and Windows Vista is wonderful.  I can be doing many things at once and still it is fast fast fast.   The graphics are great too.  You won't be sorry with this one.

I've been very pleased with this computer..I bought it about nine months ago..it was everything I hoped for..I had a few problems with Windows Vista..but I'm sure all new software has bugs..other than that..the computer itself has been great..its fast..reliable..I like the look of the tower..I'd recommend it to anyone..

I bought my Dell Xps 410 desktop pc back in 2005-2006.  I use both years because my wife bought it for me for Christmas.  I already had a brand mew flat panel screen, keyboard and mouse, and Logitech's 2nd finest Z-5300 PC speaker system.  So all I bought at the time was the CPU.  And here I am today, about 3 to 4 years later, and it still working like a charm.  Of course I have upgraded some components since them; I upgraded the RAM to 4GB, the graphics card to DDR2 512MB NVIDIA graphics ( Which hopefully in the near future, I will upgrade that even to a 1GB graphics card.) and I also upgraded...

Just got a Dell XPS additional to a few other Dell's we have and own. Dell has been top of the line. My "crew" here love to game it and the XPS will operate MOST games. I got this one for my husband who doesn't really know a whole lot pertaining to computers but he surely does love it. Myself.....it is one of the top of the line computers.

The Dell XPS 410 has been a great computer over the last year and a half.  For the price, I couldn't ask for a better computer.  I'm able to run multiple programs simultaneously without slowing it down and I feel like 2g of RAM is plenty for my needs.
