Love this computer

My husband and I finally purchased a new computer after months of research for exactly what we wanted within our budget.  We chose this computer because it has the quality Dell name and the price was very reasonable for what you get in a computer.  I am no techie so the one thing that I absolutely loved about this computer from day one was its ease of use.  I just plugged everything in to the computer and it worked - no problems and no issues.  I also love all of the USB ports that the computer has on the front and top of it.  This is really nice to have as I use it often for downloading pictures from my camera or charging and syncing my MP3 player.  The only thing that we didn't exactly love about the computer was the color.  We ordered it online and we thought the entire computer would be black.  We were a little disappointed that the front cover of the computer is actually a steel gray color.  I thing the Dell website pictures do not portray the colors to well.  Other than that, I love everything about this computer.

How would I describe this computer.  First things it is really quiet when on for long periods of time.  The graphics are good enough to run most PC games at a medium level.  The fact that it has four gigs of ram really helps you work fast and never freeze up when opening multipule web pages or just pages on your PC.  It can be used for playing music and running movies.  I have used the CD burner on it and it was fast  enough for a person who burns them from time to time but not for the hardcore.  This is my first time with Vista so that was an interesting start for me I was not sure what to expect when trying to run my games.  I found most of them to run quite well but the older games had a rough time starting with out having to download many patches.  I did find that if you are trying to run a game like Crisis that you wont have a chance in hell at doing anything over the basic graphics.  over all this is a great PC for the comon person who does not do tons of things.  I wish it had more Ram but it will do for now.

I used to be very fearful of purchasing Dell products because of the negative reviews I have heard from not only strangers, but friends and family. A couple of years had passed and I had purchased several HP laptops. All of he laptops were intended for my profession, but unfortunately, all of them crashed within a matter of months. I loved the price, but the quality was horrible. Behold, Dell came to the rescue. I have had my Dell desktop for several months now and have realized that this is a machine that is durable and efficent. I spend most of my time on the computer for business and personal use. The computer is on for 14 hours at a time and never crashes. My HP used to turn off by itself all time the time due to over heating. My Dell desktop has not once crashed. I love the sleek design of the monitor and hard drive. The hard drive is so quiet that I forget I even turned on my computer.

I got this computer for the purpose of gaming. I didn't want to spend a lot, but didn't  want to compromise performance as I have in the past. Simply put, this is a great machine for running games, at a great price. I selected 8GB RAM and the Radeon 5870. With both single player and online games, this machine really performs well. I run Crysis extremely well and can max out Modern Warfare 2 and retain over 100 frames per second. Finally, while this machine runs, it is extremely quiet even when I am running things like crisis.
