Dell Studio 15 Laptop Review

I just recently purchased a Dell Studio 15 laptop.  I owned a Dell 600m laptop previously and it lasted me over 5 years, so I had no reservations about purchasing a Dell again.  I have also always had a good experience with the Dell support service, although I did have a higher level warranty purchased on my previous laptop than this new one.

I purchased the laptop through Costco and although I have only had it for a few weeks, I am very happy with it so far.  The laptop has a very sleek design, and I opted for the upgraded color cover (as opposed to the standard black) and it gives it a nice professional look.  I also got the 9-cell battery (as opposed to the 6-cell battery) and the battery longevity is phenomenal.  Also, the sound system is the best I found on the latops that I was looking at.

My only qualms thus far is a small and rather strange one that might just be a part of the newest generation of latops.  There are no progress or status lights whatsoever on the machine and it is so quiet that most of the time it's very difficult to tell when it's working on something.

All in all, I would thoroughly encourage this laptop to my friends if they wanted a suggestion.
