Most HelpfulI have never had a problem with Dell when it comes to purchasing a computer online. However, when purchasing non-Dell branded items, it's been a terrible experience. They never have it in stock and often I never receive what I ordered. For example, in mid-November I ordered a two Wii controller as a Christmas gift for my son. Never heard anything from Dell until January 7th. I was informed that I must send email consent to receive the backordered product. Well I consented immediately only to find out on January 24th that they cancelled my order.

review »Not only have I consistently replaced my family's old computers with Dells (3 desktops, 1 laptop), but 8 others have accepted my recommendations and apparently are equally happy with their experience with Dell.

review »I ordered a Dell laptop online on June 07, 2007. The specifics are not necessary except that it was to be pink. I saw a commercial for different colored laptops and ordered one. The company sent me three emails delaying my order. The last email on August 10, 2007 stated that my order would not be shipped until September 24, 2007 and that date was not guaranteed. review »When I needed a new laptop, the truth was that I couldn't beat the unbelievable prices that Dell offered. I was also able to take advantage of an offer of an all-in-one color printer, scanner, copier for less than $50.
I did have difficulty deciding which software, features, etc. were right for me and in the end I got a laptop with far too little memory, that within a year I needed to buy additional memory just to operate programs.

review »Dell Online is a great resource when buying a computer, camera, or any other electronic. The site is easy to browse and will answer just about any question that you may have. The only down fall is that there are a few gray areas that may not have all of the questions you desire. This is where the Dell phone support begins. You will be talking to someone from India with a heavy accent. I do not have a problem with this - if I can understand the person. Most of the times this is not the case.
For everyday shopping and buying, Dell is a great website to visit. Just beware of Customer...
review »As a college student, I was looking for a cheap but high quality computer and Dell seemed to be the most logical option for me after comparing different companies. I ordered the Inspiron 1600 laptop. At first the computer worked just fine, however after the first month things went down hill and have been continuously getting worse.
