When I needed a new laptop, the truth was that I couldn't beat the unbelievable prices that Dell offered. I was also able to take advantage of an offer of an all-in-one color printer, scanner, copier for less than $50.
I did have difficulty deciding which software, features, etc. were right for me and in the end I got a laptop with far too little memory, that within a year I needed to buy additional memory just to operate programs.
Additionally, when my AIO printer suddenly broke after approximately 6 months, I had the most impossible time trying to contact customer service and tech support and when I finally did get through; I spent a number of hours on the phone explaining the issue, only to then be told that it was a hardware malfunction and I would need to purchase a new printer! When I inquired as to the limited warranty, I was informed that the warranty was only valid for 3 months!!
