I ordered a Dell laptop online on June 07, 2007. The specifics are not necessary except that it was to be pink. I saw a commercial for different colored laptops and ordered one. The company sent me three emails delaying my order. The last email on August 10, 2007 stated that my order would not be shipped until September 24, 2007 and that date was not guaranteed. I called to cancel my order (I waited long enough) and inquire about the delay. The reason for the delay was the colored shell. Why the heavy marketing campaign if they can't deliver. I was looking for a new laptop after the motherboard in my Hewlet-Packard died. I ended up buying another HP because they were able to deliver quickly. After cancelling my order, 4 different people from Dell customer service called to talk to me. I felt a bit harassed. Dell cannot deliver!!!
