I received the mini laptop aa a gift and while I thought it was nice, I did not think that I would use it very much. However, I have changed my mind. I use the unit alsmost every day. It is easy to use, I can take it anywhere I go, and it really is light weight. Ihave found that because of all those things, I am spending much more time usng the computer, accessing informtion has become much easier and is faster han my old HP laptop. However, there have been some drawbacks. THe unit is not compatible with my current printer, so I am going to have to purchase a new one if I want to print anything from this computer. There isalso no disc drive with the unit. So, while Dell sent me discs that can load some additonal programs, without the disc drive, this can not b one. Therefore, I will need to purchase and external drive if I want to add programs or load anything else into the unit. So while the computer itself is great, there are some draw backs. Overall, I am pleased with the computer and definitely am using it more than I have ever used any other computer I have ever owned. I would reccommend the unit to others.

This netbook is basically just your average netbook with your average slow processing Intel atom processor. There's nothing really special that makes it stand out from the crowd beyond the fact that it is after all Dell made. It looks a little bit better than most of the other netbooks out there, but it definitely doesn't make this machine worth the extra money. This being said though, these netbooks are definitely reliable and do absolutely everything you need them to do. I personally have one and the main thing that I love is the portability. It's difficult to lug a 6 pound notebook around everywhere with a 15.6'' screen but these tiny things will fit almost anywhere and can replace a notebook in many regards. I greatly recommend them if you are on the go alot but still have the need to use the functions of a normal laptop. I would love to have seen these netbooks with a little bit more memory and hard drive space though.

I use my Dell Mini 10 PC Notebook everyday for almost everything.  It is portable so I take it almost anywhere without breaking my back carrying a giant laptop.  It has a wireless card so I can use it at coffee shops or the mall or whereever I might need to look something up.  I have even brought it to my kids appointments when I have to wait in the waiting room.  The battery that comes with the Dell Mini 10 PC Notebook has a great life.  I keep it plugged in most of the time but when I can't I feel confident that my battery will not run out on me.  One problem is that the Dell Mini 10 PC Notebook comes with limited memory.  I had to purchace an external hard drive to store most of my files that I do not use everyday.  I also use that to store larger programs that are not part of the standard bundle on the Dell Mini 10 PC Notebook.  Overall, though, my Dell Mini 10 PC Notebook has been a real life saver many times.
