Most Helpfuli have always used a PC and I've never had a Mac. When i bought this laptop I was a freshman in college and at first it was fine. These computers are very simple and pretty easy to work. However, after about a year the battery hardly lasted anymore and the computer had crashed about 4 times. I was always...
review »Laptop Dell d620 latitude The D620 replaces the D610 and provides quite an overhaul in both design change and internal components. The new industrial charcoal grey and black look of the D620 conveys its strong build, which Dell calls Road Ready, and with a slew of available built in wireless communications this notebook is road ready in more ways than one
Several circumstances drove my need to purchase this laptop. To begin with, my XP 1700+ custom built desktop was aging into the 6-year range and was not quite keeping up with everything I was throwing at it. I was also thinking a few months...
review »I have been using my Dell Latitude laptop for two years now and find it to be just the right size and weight to take with me as I travel or use at home. I travel frequently for business and pleasure and always take my laptop. The screen size and clarity are just great. I have seen and used other laptops where the screen can only be seen fromone angle. My Latitude is easy to see and I rarely if ever have a glare problem with the screen. In addition, I can work on my laptop for up to 3 hours when the battery has a full charge. My only critisicm of this laptop is the keypad which I have had to replace...
review »I use the Dell Lattitude D620 for work every day and love it. It is very reliable and easy to use. I have not had any problems with this laptop at all.
The screen is clear and very easy to see. The size is perfect, not too big where I can't take it back and forth to work with me or travel with it. The laptop is not heavy in the least, fairly light for a laptop this size. It is not so small where you feel like it is a pain to use, both with the keyboard and the size of the screen.
The battery life on this laptop generally lasts for a good amount of time, I have never had it run out...
review »i have had my dell latitude for almost three years. i had the bulk of problems with my lap top within the first six months. luckly i had a student task force able to help, or else it would have crashed within the first year. since then i have had minor problems with slow operation. also the battery is completely shot. i dont understand why i spent twice as much to get a laptop rather than a desktop when my lap top is completely immoble. i must keep it plugged in at all times because it will not keep a charge for longer than four minutes. the battery is irreplaceable. i have...
review »I've had the Dell Latitude D620 for three years now, and I couldn't be happier. The computer operates at a great speed and has had virtually no complications as long as I've had it. The battery lasts for a good five hours, which is fantastic for a lap top. The computer is a good size, but the battery sticks out a bit from the front of the computer making it a little cumbersome. I primarily use the computer for acedemia, but the speakers aren't bad, and the screen is a good size. One of my main conerns is that as the computer gets older, it takes longer to start up. Occasionally, the...
review »I like the stick mouse pointer provided by Dell. I used to be a thinkpad user, so very glad to find this device from Dell. Reliable, will buy again if I want to upgrade in the future.

review »I wanted a cheap laptop to surf the net, use email & blog and got a good deal on the Dell D620. It is not the best laptop as far speed, but it is a nice "starter" computer for those that aren't into gaming or using it for work. The screen is easy to see and the weight is typical for this size laptop. The battery life isn't the best, but you can adjust how efficient you want it to be in the settings menu. The fingertip pad is a bit too sensitive, but that is the only real negative I have seen so far.
I have been using Latitude D620 for last three years now. I never had any issues with it and my use is specially rough (mostly due to software development work I do on it) but it has kep up with me. Sometimes it gets hot which I found fairly common in all dell laptop barnds.
I can not comment much on keyboard and touch pad as I use external keyboard and external mouse (Both are USB).
Overall, I think this laptop is good value for it's cost.
I am not sure how I feel about this computer it has the ability to do more than it does with duo core 2 processer you would think it would have been faster.....I have a inspiron with duo core and it seems to run better probaly because it has more ram to run off of...why put a smarter duo in a slower computer dell?? I dunno.....I think it's heavy too. and it's not reallly cute it is definitly made for a guy......
