This computer was a hugh disappointment!!!!! This was our first computer purchase for ourselves. It is not worth the high price we paid for the headache it has caused. We felt Dell was a very reputable company, that's not the case anymore. After about 2 months of use the computer began crashing repetedly. We spent hours on the phone with Dell technical support. They sent people to our home to work on the computer and he couldn't fix it. They then wanted us to send it off. After talking with 13 people for about 14 hours and 6 e-mails within less than a week one would think that someone in customer service would think, hum....maybe these people's computer has something wrong with it, not so much. Much to my dismay I had to finally call and threaten to get a lawyer because I had a FOUR year warranty and had only owned the computer for 2 months and yet nothing could fix the computer. I just hate that I had to be stern with them and demand to speak to supervisor upon supervisor until I found someone who could authorize the approval of a new machine. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? We have a new computer which I am thankful for and it seems to be okay, although I am worried daily that it will do the same thing the last one did.
I'm sure some of you have had great experience with Dell, but I felt like I should at least warn you of what could happen. Good luck in your future purchase. I hope you have a better experience than we did whatever product you choose.
