I have never owned my own laptop before my dell.  After shopping around, I decided to go on line.  It was very reasonably priced.  It is perfect for me.  I no longer have a desk top computer.  This is so much more practical and takes up no space.

Okay this has to be the worst laptop I have ever owned. I've owned many laptops ranging from Apple Macbook Pros to Lenovos and even Toshibas. This is the 5th Dell laptop I've owned and the previous ones have never failed me like this one has. This one crashed out of the box and I had to send it in for a new replacement. This was due to a hard drive failure. Next up the bat was a video hardware failure and resulting in everything booting up but no image on the screen. Again I had to send it in to be replaced. This was annoying as each problem took approximately a week to rectify the problem. After dealing with all the problems I eventually sent it in and exchanged it for a netbook. I couldn't be more happier with the chocie I made. However I miss the keyboard on the 1545 due to the fact that it is spacious!! I don't however miss the battery life because it was atrocious on the 1545. No regrets from this buyer.

I am totally in love with my Dell Inspiron!  Aside from the fact that is such a chic color and I was able to buy a matching printer and mouse, it has a nice sleek design.  All my friends comment on the bright colored laptop that I carry everywhere with me!  What is totally fab about it also is it arrives all ready to be used and comes with fantastic software.  It has a nice slim lightweight design and that makes it perfect for me to not feel like I am carrying a ton of weight around.  I tote my little laptop from the porch, to work and even to bed!  The preloaded software is very functional and the setup is very smooth.  You plug and go.  There is very little effort involved from the moment you open the box to the moment you are cruise the internet!  I have had no problems with this laptop and it has been nothing but reliable. The other great thing about it is the price.  A fab price by every stretch of the imagination.  Great laptop for the money!

I purcahsed the Dell Inspiron 1545 for my little sister for Christmas.  She was looking for a computer that would allow her to do her homework.  She also wanted to be able to surf the internet and watch movies.  The Dell 1545 was the perfect laptop.  It has a huge 15.6" display which makes it great for watching movies.  She streams movies from Netflix anywhere in the house.  It also has a nice bonus, a built in webcam.  Lately, she's been using Skype a lot with her friends at school so this feature has really come in handy. The system comes with a media card reader, spacious 320gb hard drive, built-in 1.3MP webcam, 6-cell battery, and Windows 7.  It is the perfect laptop for a student or professional.  It has all the features a student would need but also has a sleek, professional appearance and would be a great work laptop as well.  I am glad I went with this computer, it was the perfect gift.  I am happy with the purchase, as is my sister.

I bought the Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop for college so I could have a laptop to bring to class and use outside of my room. It has been pretty decent for a laptop since it is capable of everything and the battery life of the standard battery that it came with lasts for a while. I'm able to use the laptop for note taking for 2-3 hrs which is pretty good I think. However, there are a few minor problems that I had. The windows operating system that it came with had some problem where I would get the blue screen of death whenever I tried to turn my computer back on from sleep. I'm not sure if this was a problem with everyone or just me, but I uninstalled something and it worked fine afterwards. Also, the glossy finish of hte laptop looks good, but it collects a lot of fingerprints and handprints when you type, which is really annoying to me because I have to wipe it a lot. Overall, I would recommend this laptop since it is relatively cheap and it just has some minor problems that aren't that big a deal.

 What an amazing, affordable, and reliable PC notebook this is.  Built in wireless and a built in web cam.  This is really an amazing product.  I am very surprised because Dell computers usually are low grade and have costly repairs.  Dell is really stepping it up with their new computers. If you are willing to pay for quality at and affordable, inexpensive price, then this is the notebook PC for you.  I rated this product four out of five stars, because its not meant for prolong use and it does overheat. I would suggest purchasing the laptop fan system for underneath your PC. As a PC enthusiast, I take apart and reassemble computers all the time.  This notebook is put together very nicely, and has a great battery life.  Again such a reliable and problem free computer.  If anything was to ever go wrong, Dell has such a great customer service experience that they will provide for you, and also Dell has great warranty and protection plans for your new pc.   Pros have a great advantage over the Cons of this product, in my opinion.

I take it with me everywhere! I have 250 g hard drive with 2 g of memory. I still haven't used it all. I have over 50 g of music by its self. I did put a protective cover over it but am changing it soon. I haven't had any problems with the computer itself. I have more problems with a few programs. Windows media player is mess up right now, and sometimes updates take two tries to complete but that has to do with my virus protection. Something got through. I couldn't afford the full coverage protection. I could only use the free version. I have never owned anything but dell. And never will own anything else but dell. I buy my bag from them and my covers. Oh and I bought my camera from them. Love Dell!

The Dell laptop has most of the standard features of laptops. I have one, which I purchased for a good price, and it is very useful when I travel and cannot bring a desktop. Wifi runs quite smoothly, and I can use it to recharge my Ipod Touch. However, it can be improved, because it has a short battery life, and cannot run games very smoothly. The games often freeze, and have very low framerates. The battery dies very quickly, so the laptop seems to be easier to use as a desktop. There is no number pad, limiting some of the convenience of the laptop. The laptop is also very fragile. I dropped it from my literal lap while I was sitting, and the disk insert slot seems broken and irreperable. Not only that, the laptop also cannot turn off properly because of the broken disk slot. Other than the four listed cons, the laptop is quite good. I would recommend it to you if you want a cheap laptop to use Wifi for a short period of time, but not if you want a long lasting and durable laptop.
